Amber stood quietly in the living room, still processing everything she had learned.

Dev walked toward her and gently looked into her eyes.

“Amber, I need to ask you something. Will you guarantee me that you will never leave my side?”

Amber was surprised by the question.

She could see that Dev wasn’t asking because he wanted control. He was asking because he wanted certainty.

For a moment, Amber said nothing. Then she stepped closer.

“The biggest guarantee I can give you is simple.”

Dev waited for her answer.

“We should get married as soon as possible.”

Dev’s expression immediately changed. He hadn’t expected such a direct answer.

“You mean it?”

Amber nodded.

“Yes. If we truly believe in each other, then we shouldn’t keep living with doubts.”

“Then okay. Be ready.”

“Ready for what?”

“Tomorrow morning, we’re going to wake up, go to the church, and get married.”

“I’m ready.”

The next morning arrived faster than either of them expected.

Amber got ready with a completely different feeling in her heart.

There was no fear. No hesitation. No wondering about what might happen next.

Dev arrived, and together they left for the church.

As they drove, Amber looked out the window, realizing that she was leaving behind an entire chapter of uncertainty.

“Are you still sure?”

“I’ve never been more sure.”

The church was peaceful and beautiful. Soft morning light entered through the windows as Amber and Dev stood together before the altar.

They looked at each other, knowing that this wasn’t just a wedding.

When the ceremony was complete, Dev looked at Amber with a peaceful smile.

“Now there’s nothing left to doubt.”

“And nothing left to fear.”

They held each other’s hands as they walked out of the church together.

There was no longer suspicion between them.

Amber no longer questioned Dev’s love. Dev no longer wondered whether Amber would stay.
