The party was supposed to be a perfect escape.

Turks was filled with sunshine, luxury hotels, music, laughter, and a group of friends ready to forget their problems for a few days.

But nobody expected one unexpected conversation between Anthony and his ex-wife, Shayla, to turn the entire trip upside down.

And D’Nisha was about to discover something that could completely change the way she looked at Anthony.
SCENE 1 — LUXURY HOTEL, TURKS — AFTERNOON

The hotel was alive with energy.

Music played near the pool while friends relaxed under umbrellas, taking pictures and laughing together.

D’Nisha sat near the lounge area with a drink in her hand, watching everyone enjoy the trip.

Anthony stood a short distance away, talking with some of the guys.

Shayla was there too.

At first, everything seemed normal.

But Shayla kept looking toward Anthony.

Finally, she walked over to him.

SHAYLA Anthony, can I talk to you for a minute?

Anthony looked at her and immediately noticed the seriousness in her voice.

ANTHONY Yeah. What’s going on?

Shayla glanced around before lowering her voice.

SHAYLA I really need your help.

Anthony’s expression changed.

ANTHONY What happened?

Shayla explained that she was dealing with an urgent financial situation and didn’t know who else she could turn to.

Anthony listened quietly.

For a moment, he looked toward D’Nisha.

She was still sitting with the others and hadn’t noticed the conversation.

ANTHONY How much do you need?

Shayla hesitated.

SHAYLA I don’t even know if you can help me.

Anthony reached for his phone.

ANTHONY Just tell me what you need.

Shayla gave him the amount.

Anthony didn’t argue.

He helped her.

SHAYLA Thank you, Anthony.
ANTHONY Don’t worry about it.

But Anthony didn’t realize someone had started watching them.

D’Nisha.

SCENE 2 — POOLSIDE LOUNGE — LATER

D’Nisha walked toward Anthony after Shayla left.

Her expression was calm, but her eyes told a different story.

D’NISHA What was that about?

Anthony looked at her.

ANTHONY Nothing serious.

D’Nisha folded her arms.

D’NISHA Nothing serious?

Anthony sighed.

ANTHONY Shayla needed some help.

D’Nisha’s face immediately changed.

D’NISHA Help?
ANTHONY Yeah. She had a situation and needed money.

D’Nisha stared at him.

D’NISHA And you gave it to her?

Anthony nodded.

ANTHONY Yeah.

D’Nisha looked away for a moment, trying to control her reaction.

D’NISHA Anthony, do you realize how many expenses we already have?
ANTHONY I know.
D’NISHA Then why are you still putting yourself in the middle of Shayla’s problems?

Anthony remained calm.

ANTHONY Because she needed help.
D’NISHA She’s your ex-wife.

Anthony looked at her.

ANTHONY I know who she is.

D’Nisha’s voice became quieter.

D’NISHA Then you should also understand why this bothers me.

Anthony didn’t respond immediately.

The music continued around them, but the mood between them had completely changed.

ANTHONY D’Nisha, you’re making this bigger than it is.

That sentence hurt more than Anthony expected.

D’Nisha slowly shook her head.

D’NISHA Maybe because you don’t understand what I’m seeing.

She walked away.

Anthony watched her leave.

SCENE 3 — HOTEL LOUNGE — EVENING

As the sun began to set, the group gathered inside the hotel lounge.

Everyone was laughing and talking about the night’s plans.

But D’Nisha was unusually quiet.

Anthony approached her.

ANTHONY You still upset?

D’Nisha looked at him.

D’NISHA I’m not trying to fight with you.
ANTHONY Then what’s the problem?
D’NISHA The problem is that I told you how I felt, and you acted like it didn’t matter.

Anthony sat beside her.

ANTHONY I wasn’t trying to disrespect you.
D’NISHA Then don’t make me feel like I’m competing with your past.

Anthony became silent.

D’NISHA If Shayla needs help, that’s one thing. But you keep getting involved deeper and deeper.

Anthony looked down.

ANTHONY I’ll handle it.

D’Nisha stared at him.

D’NISHA That’s exactly what I’m afraid of.
SCENE 4 — THE NEXT MORNING

The next morning started peacefully.

The group prepared for another day at the hotel.

But Anthony’s phone kept buzzing.

He stepped away from everyone and answered.

It was Shayla.

SHAYLA Anthony, I’m sorry to bother you again.

Anthony looked concerned.

ANTHONY What’s wrong now?

Shayla explained that another unexpected expense had come up.

Anthony listened.

ANTHONY Okay. I’ll take care of it.

He ended the call.

But this time, D’Nisha had seen him.

She stood near the hotel entrance.

She didn’t say anything.

Anthony noticed her.

ANTHONY D’Nisha…

She simply looked at him.

D’NISHA Again?

Anthony walked toward her.

ANTHONY It’s complicated.
D’NISHA No. It isn’t.

Anthony stopped.

D’NISHA You told me you understood how I felt.
ANTHONY I do.
D’NISHA Then why are you doing the exact same thing again?

Anthony struggled to answer.

ANTHONY Because she needs h
