The sun is barely above the horizon.

The vacation house is quiet. Everyone is still asleep.

But beside the swimming pool, something is about to happen that will change the entire trip.

A beautiful designer dress lies on a chair. It is elegant, expensive, and carefully folded.

A few steps away, Dinisha is swimming peacefully in the pool.

Then Shayla appears.

She stops.

Her eyes immediately fall on the dress.

For a few seconds, she simply stares at it.

Jealousy. Anger. And a secret resentment.

Shayla slowly walks toward the dress. She touches the fabric.

She looks toward Dinisha, who is still swimming and has not noticed anything.

Shayla picks up the dress and examines the expensive material.

Her jealousy grows stronger.

Then her expression changes.

An idea enters her mind.

She looks around. Nobody is there.

Shayla takes out a lighter.

The flame flickers.

For one moment, she hesitates.

WHOOSH!

The dress catches fire.

Shayla watches silently as the flames spread across the beautiful fabric.

But she has no idea that someone is about to see everything.

Dinisha climbs out of the pool. She grabs a towel.

Then she notices the smoke.

Her smile disappears.

She turns toward the chair.

Her dress is burning.

She runs toward it. Then she sees Shayla standing nearby.

Dinisha immediately understands.

Shayla turns around.

She doesn’t look frightened. Instead, she looks completely unapologetic.

A long silence.

Dinisha stares at her in disbelief.

Dinisha takes a deep breath.

Dinisha’s eyes fill with anger.

Dinisha loses her patience.

She pushes Shayla away. Shayla pushes her back.

Suddenly, the argument becomes physical.

The two women begin fighting beside the pool.

Dinisha grabs Shayla’s arm. Shayla pulls away.

They stumble against a chair.

CRASH!

The noise echoes through the house.

Inside, everyone wakes up. Footsteps rush toward the pool.

Anthony is the first to come outside.

Anthony runs toward them and separates them.

Everyone gathers around. Then Anthony notices the ruined dress.

Anthony stops.

Her voice becomes quieter.

She looks directly at Anthony.

She turns around.

Dinisha walks away.

Anthony watches helplessly.

Behind him, Shayla remains standing near the pool.

She looks strangely calm.

Almost too calm.

Later that afternoon, Shayla notices a small piece of paper stuck underneath the burned dress.

She slowly pulls it free.

Her eyes narrow as she unfolds it.

“ASK ANTHONY WHAT REALLY HAPPENED BEFORE THIS TRIP.”

Shayla’s face suddenly changes.

She quickly folds the paper and hides it in her pocket.
