SCENE 1 — WAYNE’S HOUSE

The sun disappears behind the clouds. Yaya stands near the gate, holding her young son’s hand. Across the road, Mike watches them with growing jealousy. He sees the happiness he believes Yaya has stolen from him.

MIKE:

So this is what makes her happy now.

Mike reaches into his car and finds a black mask. He puts it into his pocket, his eyes fixed on the little boy. A terrible idea begins to take shape in his mind. Tonight, he intends to make Yaya listen to him.

SCENE 2 — THE KIDNAPPING

Yaya briefly steps away from her son to collect her bag. Mike emerges from behind a wall, his face hidden by a mask. He grabs the child and runs toward a narrow alley. The boy screams for his mother.

YAYA’S SON:

Mummy! Mummy, help me!

Yaya turns and sees the horrifying scene. Her bag falls from her hand as she races after them. Wayne rushes outside when he hears her desperate cries. But Mike and the child have already disappeared.

YAYA:

Please, God. Don’t let anything happen to my child.

SCENE 3 — THE ABANDONED HOUSE

Beyond the edge of town stands an abandoned house with broken windows and cracked walls. Mike brings the crying child inside and places him on an old wooden chair.

YAYA’S SON:

Please take me home. I want my mummy.

Mike looks away, fighting the guilt rising inside him. Outside, desperate footsteps approach the house. Yaya has followed the sound of her child’s cries. Mike waits in the shadows as she enters.

SCENE 4 — MIKE’S TERRIBLE DEMAND

Yaya rushes toward her son, but Mike suddenly grabs her wrist. She struggles and begs him to release her. When he removes his mask, she recognizes his face. Her relief turns into horror.

YAYA:

Mike? You did this? You kidnapped my child? What has he ever done to you?

MIKE:

Because you left me with no other choice. He’s your weakness, Yaya. And you know it.

Mike tightens his grip as Yaya tries to reach her son. Then he makes a demand that leaves her trembling.

Spend the night with me, or I won’t let your child go.

YAYA:

Please let me go. I’m not that kind of woman. Please let my son go. Whatever you want, don’t punish an innocent child.

Mike refuses to listen. He uses the child’s safety to keep Yaya under his control. Yaya holds her son close, knowing she must remain calm if she is going to find a way to save him.

SCENE 5 — A NIGHT OF FEAR

An old lantern flickers in the dark room. Yaya sits beside her exhausted son while Mike watches them. She asks him why he has become so cruel. His answer reveals the jealousy he has been hiding.

MIKE:

You think Wayne will save you? Ever since he came into your life, you’ve treated me like I mean nothing.

YAYA:

You cannot force someone to love you. Love is not a prison, Mike. My child deserves better than this.

Mike kicks a broken chair across the floor. The sudden noise wakes the child, who begins to cry. Yaya shields him with her arms. For the first time, Mike seems afraid of what he has done.

SCENE 6 — WAYNE DISCOVERS THE CLUE

Meanwhile, Wayne searches every nearby street. Guilt weighs heavily on him as he remembers seeing Mike near the gate earlier that afternoon. Then an old message catches his attention.

The message was sent by Mike two days earlier. Wayne reads the threatening words and realizes that the kidnapping was not a random crime. Mike had been planning something terrible.

If Yaya won’t come back to me, nobody will have her.

Wayne immediately contacts the detective and sends the message as evidence. He grabs his keys and races toward the abandoned buildings outside town. He hopes he is not already too late.

SCENE 7 — THE MYSTERIOUS MESSAGE

Inside the abandoned house, Mike receives a message that drains the color from his face. Yaya notices his trembling hands and asks who contacted him. He quickly locks his phone and refuses to answer.

Suddenly, footsteps approach the entrance. Three heavy knocks echo through the room. A mysterious voice calls Mike’s name from outside. Mike looks terrified for the first time that night.

UNKNOWN VOICE: Mike. Open the door.

The voice warns Yaya not to believe anything Mike says. Then the person reveals that the child is not the only reason Mike brought her to the abandoned house. Yaya looks at Mike, demanding the truth.

SCENE 8 — THE SHOCKING SECRET

Mike’s phone slips from his trembling hand. The screen lights up with a new message. Yaya catches a glimpse of the sender’s name and realizes something is terribly wrong.

She must never learn the truth.

YAYA:

What truth, Mike? What are you hiding from me?

Mike backs away without answering. The door begins to open, and a shadow stretches across the dusty floor. Yaya holds her son tightly, preparing herself for whatever comes next.

Someone steps into the room. Yaya raises her eyes and sees a familiar face. Her lips part, but no words come out. The person standing there is the last one she expected.
