Amber Walks In on Dave and Omni — But Dave’s Unexpected Outburst Leaves Her Speechless!
Amber never imagined that one unexpected visit would turn an ordinary afternoon into a confrontation that could change her relationship with Dave forever. When she walked into the restaurant and saw Dave sitting with Omni, the situation immediately took a turn neither of them expected.
An Unexpected Discovery
Dave had arranged to meet Omni at an upscale restaurant to discuss an important business opportunity. They sat near the window, reviewing documents and talking comfortably.
Omni: “Dave, I think this opportunity could be bigger than we originally planned. If we handle everything correctly, we could take this business to another level.”
Dave: “That’s exactly what I’m thinking. I want us to be on the same page before we make any major decisions.”
Just as Omni began explaining another detail, Amber walked through the restaurant entrance. She had wanted to see Dave and talk to him, but the moment she spotted him sitting with Omni, she stopped in shock.
Amber: “Seriously, Dave? This is what you’re doing now?”
Dave: “Amber? What are you doing here?”
Amber: “That’s the first thing you want to ask me? Maybe you should explain what you’re doing here with Omni.”
Omni: “Amber, I think there’s been a misunderstanding.”
Amber: “A misunderstanding? I walk in and find the two of you sitting together like this, and you expect me to believe everything is perfectly normal?”
Dave stood up, hoping to calm her down.
Dave: “Amber, please. Let me explain what’s happening.”
Amber: “You could have told me you were meeting her. Instead, I have to find out like this?”
Dave Tries to Explain, but Amber Refuses to Listen
Dave glanced around the restaurant as nearby customers began noticing the confrontation. He wanted to keep the situation private, but Amber was too upset to listen calmly.
Dave: “Amber, lower your voice for a second and let me explain.”
Amber: “Don’t tell me to lower my voice. Maybe you should have thought about this before I walked in and found you with her.”
Omni: “Dave, perhaps I should give you two a moment.”
Amber: “No, Omni. You don’t need to go anywhere. Since you’re sitting here with Dave, you can hear this conversation too.”
Dave shook his head in frustration. He had tried to explain the situation several times, but Amber kept interrupting him.
Dave: “Amber, this isn’t fair. You’re making assumptions without even asking me what we’re discussing.”
Amber: “Then tell me! Because from where I’m standing, it looks like there’s a lot you’re not telling me.”
Dave: “I’m telling you the truth!”
Amber turned away, ready to leave. Dave’s frustration finally reached its limit.
Dave’s Loud Declaration Leaves Amber Shocked
Dave suddenly raised his voice, making everyone at the nearby tables turn toward them.
“AMBER, OMNI AND I ARE BUSINESS PARTNERS! WE ARE HAVING A BUSINESS MEETING!”
Amber froze. She slowly turned back toward Dave, her eyes wide with surprise. She had expected an argument, but she had not expected him to shout at her in front of everyone.
For several seconds, Amber remained silent. Dave immediately realized how deeply his outburst had affected her.
Dave: “Amber… that’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. This is a business meeting.”
Amber: “So that’s how you’re going to talk to me?”
Dave: “I wasn’t trying to disrespect you. You weren’t letting me finish explaining.”
Amber: “Fine, Dave. I heard you.”
Amber picked up her belongings and headed toward the restaurant entrance. Dave immediately called after her.
Dave: “Amber, wait! Please, just give me a minute.”
But Amber did not respond. She continued walking, leaving Dave confused and worried about what would happen next.
Dave Follows Amber
Dave turned toward Omni before hurrying after Amber.
Dave: “I’m sorry. I need to handle this.”
Omni: “Go talk to her, Dave. But make sure she understands what actually happened.”
Dave grabbed his belongings and rushed outside. He spotted Amber walking away and quickly caught up with her near the entrance.
Dave: “Amber, please stop for a second!”
Amber stopped but did not immediately turn around.
Amber: “What do you want, Dave?”
Dave: “I want you to hear me out. Omni and I really were discussing business. There was nothing wrong happening at that table.”
Amber: “Then why did you have to shout at me in front of everyone?”
Dave hesitated before answering.
Dave: “Because you wouldn’t let me explain.”
Amber: “And you think that makes it okay to speak to me like that?”
Dave: “No. I shouldn’t have raised my voice. I was frustrated, and I handled it badly. But I need you to understand that what you saw wasn’t what you thought it was.”
Amber looked away, trying to process everything.
Amber: “Dave, I don’t know what I’m supposed to believe anymore.”
Dave: “Believe me when I tell you that Omni is my business partner. We were discussing work, and that’s all that was happening.”
Dave took a step toward her, careful not to pressure her.
Dave: “I’m asking you to give me a chance to explain everything properly. You don’t have to agree with me right now, but please don’t walk away without hearing the whole story.”
Amber: “I need some time, Dave.”
Dave: “Okay. I’ll give you time. But I hope you’ll let me explain when you’re ready.”

Amber turned and continued walking, leaving Dave standing outside the restaurant with unanswered questions of his own.
Dave had followed her because he did not want a misunderstanding to destroy their relationship. However, he now understood that explaining the meeting was only part of the problem. He also needed to address the way he had spoken to her.
Inside the restaurant, Omni was still waiting, and the business meeting remained unfinished. Outside, Amber was left wondering whether she had misunderstood the situation or whether there was more to Dave’s relationship with Omni than she knew.
