SCENE 1: THE NEWS THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

The evening was quiet, but Larry’s mind was anything but peaceful. He had been trying to understand why Bethany had suddenly become distant. The woman he loved had started making decisions without telling him.

Then a message arrived. Bethany was at Charlotte’s house. Larry read it twice, struggling to believe what he was seeing.

“What? Bethany is at Charlotte’s house? Not again. I cannot believe she has gone back to that woman after everything that has happened.”

Larry grabbed his keys. He believed Charlotte had repeatedly tried to turn Bethany against him, and now he was determined to confront her face-to-face.

SCENE 2: CHARLOTTE’S PLAN

Inside Charlotte’s house, Bethany sat on the couch, struggling to understand what she should do about her marriage. Charlotte spoke calmly, presenting herself as someone who wanted to help.

“Bethany, you need to stop letting Larry control every decision you make. You deserve to think for yourself.”

“I know I need to make my own decisions. But Larry is my husband. I cannot just ignore everything we have been through together.”

Charlotte encouraged Bethany to stay away from Larry for a while. Bethany wanted clarity, but she was beginning to wonder whether Charlotte was genuinely helping her or making the situation worse.

SCENE 3: LARRY CONNECTS THE PIECES

Larry drove toward Charlotte’s house. He remembered every argument, every misunderstanding, and every time he had warned Bethany that Charlotte was interfering in their relationship.

“I knew something was wrong. Charlotte thinks she can turn my wife against me and pretend she has done nothing wrong.”

He called Bethany again, but she did not answer. Beneath his anger was a painful fear that his marriage might be falling apart.

SCENE 4: THE ARRIVAL

Larry arrived at Charlotte’s house and knocked forcefully. Bethany immediately recognized the sound of someone who was furious.

“Charlotte! Open this door! I know Bethany is in there!”

Charlotte opened the door. Larry immediately accused her of interfering in his marriage, while Bethany appeared behind her, hoping to prevent another argument.

“You cannot blame me for every problem in your marriage. Perhaps you should ask yourself why Bethany feels the need to leave in the first place.”

“I came here because I needed some time to think. I did not want another argument.”

Larry realized that Bethany was genuinely confused. That frightened him more than he wanted to admit.

SCENE 5: THE CONFRONTATION EXPLODES

“You have already tried to turn Bethany against me before. You have created misunderstandings between us, and now you are doing it again!”

“You are so determined to make me the villain that you refuse to look at your own behavior.”

The argument grew louder. Larry moved toward Charlotte, and Bethany tried to make both of them stop. But Larry suddenly lunged forward, and the confrontation turned physical.

“LARRY! STOP! What are you doing?”

Charlotte struggled to get away as Bethany placed herself between them. The room fell silent when Bethany finally managed to make Larry pause.

“You came here because you wanted answers, but now you are making everything worse!”

Larry looked at his wife. She was frightened, angry, and deeply disappointed. He had arrived believing he was protecting his marriage, but his actions had made everything more uncertain.

SCENE 6: BETHANY MAKES A CHOICE

“You cannot keep telling me that every person who disagrees with you is trying to destroy our marriage!”

Bethany explained that she needed to make her own decisions. She could not keep living between Larry’s anger and Charlotte’s advice.

“I would never want you to be afraid of me.”

“Then you need to show me that. You cannot demand that I trust you while refusing to control your own actions.”

Bethany told Larry that she was not ready to leave with him. She needed time to understand what had happened. Larry slowly walked toward the door, realizing that the confrontation had pushed his wife further away.

SCENE 7: THE SECRET CHARLOTTE NEVER EXPECTED

After Larry left, Bethany confronted Charlotte about her real intentions. She wanted to know whether Charlotte had genuinely wanted to help her or had been trying to separate her from Larry.

“Did you ask me to come here because you genuinely wanted to help me, or because you wanted me to become distant from Larry?”

“I was trying to make you see things differently. I believed you were ignoring problems that needed to be addressed.”

Bethany was no longer sure whom she could trust. Meanwhile, Larry sat in his car, staring at his phone. Suddenly, a notification arrived from an unknown number.

“If you really want to know why Charlotte has been trying to separate you and Bethany, you need to find out what happened before all of this started.”

Larry opened the attached photograph. He recognized the people in it immediately, but the date made no sense. It had been taken long before the latest argument.

Then he noticed something in the background that changed everything. Before he could call Bethany, another message appeared.

“Do not confront Charlotte again until you discover the truth about Bethany.”

Larry froze. Why was Bethany connected to the photograph? What had happened in the past that nobody had told him? He looked toward Charlotte’s house, suddenly uncertain about everything he believed.
