Scene 1 — Dutchess Reveals the Secret
INT. DUTCHESS’S HOUSE — DAY
Dutchess looks at Brooke with a serious expression. She has information that could create another major conflict between Sharra and Larry.
DUTCHESS
Brooke, there is something you need to know about your mother. Her ex-boyfriend is back in her life.
BROOKE
What? The same man who caused all those problems between Mom and Dad?
DUTCHESS
Yes. He has been visiting Sharra’s house regularly, and apparently, he has even spent nights there.
Brooke is stunned. She remembers how much damage this relationship caused in the past. She cannot understand why her mother would allow the same man back into her life.
BROOKE
After everything that happened, why would Mom do this again?
DUTCHESS
I thought you deserved to know. But once your father hears this, things could get ugly.
Brooke grabs her belongings and rushes home. She knows that keeping this secret from Larry could make the situation even worse.
Scene 2 — Brooke Tells Larry Everything
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE — AFTERNOON
Brooke walks into the house, visibly upset. Larry immediately notices her expression, while Bethany watches with concern.
LARRY
What happened? Why do you look so worried?
BROOKE
Dad, it is about Mom. Her ex-boyfriend is back, and he has been spending a lot of time at her house.
Larry’s expression changes. The news brings back old memories and frustrations that he has never fully put behind him.
BROOKE
Dutchess said he keeps coming and going from Mom’s house. Apparently, they have even been spending nights together.
LARRY
Are you telling me that after everything that happened, she has brought that man back into her life?
BETHANY
Larry, you and Sharra are divorced. She is free to make her own decisions.
Larry turns toward Bethany, anger rising in his voice.
LARRY
She still expects me to pay the rent for that house every month while another man comes and goes whenever he wants!
Bethany tries to calm him down, but Larry grabs his keys. He is determined to confront Sharra and find out what is happening for himself.
Scene 3 — Bethany Tries to Stop Him
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE — CONTINUOUS
Bethany follows Larry toward the door. She can see that he is too angry to think clearly, and she fears that he is about to make a terrible mistake.
BETHANY
Please, Larry. Do not go over there like this. You are angry, and you are not thinking about the consequences.
LARRY
I just want answers. I am tired of hearing things about Sharra and pretending none of it matters.
BETHANY
Your past with Sharra is not going to disappear if you keep running back into her problems. What about our marriage?
Larry pauses, but his anger wins. He opens the door and walks out without giving Bethany the answer she needs.
Bethany stands there, feeling ignored once again. She has been asking Larry for love, attention, and commitment, yet his past continues to take priority over their relationship.
Brooke watches silently, wondering whether telling the truth was the right decision. By now, however, Larry is already on his way to Sharra’s house.
Scene 4 — Larry Confronts Sharra and Dre
INT. SHARRA’S HOUSE — LATE AFTERNOON
Larry arrives at Sharra’s house and knocks loudly. When Sharra opens the door, she is surprised to see him standing there with an angry expression.
SHARRA
Larry, what are you doing here? Why are you acting like this?
LARRY
I know your ex-boyfriend is back. I want to know what is happening between you two.
Sharra immediately becomes defensive. She reminds Larry that their marriage is over and that he has no right to control her personal life.
SHARRA
You divorced me, Larry. You cannot come into my house and expect me to answer to you.
LARRY
Then why am I still expected to help pay for this house while you carry on with another man?
Before Sharra can respond, Dre appears from inside the house. Larry’s attention immediately shifts toward him.
DRE
You need to calm down. This is not your house anymore.
LARRY
You are the last person who is going to tell me what to do.
Sharra tries to separate them, but neither man is willing to back down. The argument grows louder, and the situation begins to spiral out of control.
Scene 5 — The Fight That Changes Everything
INT. SHARRA’S HOUSE — CONTINUOUS
Larry and Dre exchange angry words. Their argument quickly turns physical, leaving Sharra desperately trying to stop them.
SHARRA
Both of you, stop! This is getting out of control!
Neither man listens. The struggle moves toward the staircase, and Larry tries to defend himself as the fight becomes more dangerous.
Dre kicks Larry during the confrontation. Larry loses his footing, reaches for the railing, and tumbles down the stairs.
SHARRA
Larry! Oh my God! Can you hear me?
Larry lies at the bottom of the stairs, unable to move his leg without unbearable pain.
LARRY
My leg… I cannot move it.
Sharra rushes to his side and calls for emergency help. Dre stands frozen, finally realizing how serious the situation has become.
Larry came looking for answers, but now he is facing a medical emergency. The argument is over, yet its consequences are only beginning.
Scene 6 — The Hospital Revelation
INT. HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM — EVENING
Bethany rushes into the hospital and finds Larry lying in a bed. She is frightened and confused, desperate to understand what happened.
BETHANY
Larry, what happened to you? Why are you here?
LARRY
I went to Sharra’s house. Dre and I got into an argument, and I fell down the stairs.
A doctor explains that Larry has a broken leg and will need to follow the medical team’s instructions during recovery.
BETHANY
A broken leg? I told you not to go over there. Why wouldn’t you listen to me?
Larry looks away, unable to defend his decision. Bethany is relieved that he is alive, but the emotional weight of everything that has happened begins to overwhelm her.
BETHANY
I have been trying to save our marriage. I wanted you to give me love and attention, but now we are dealing with another disaster.
Larry admits that he should have listened. Bethany wipes her tears, wondering how their relationship reached a point where every problem seems to create another.
Scene 7 — Bethany Takes Larry Home
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE — NIGHT
Bethany helps Larry settle into a comfortable position at home. His injured leg makes even simple movements difficult, and she worries about how he will recover.
LARRY
Bethany, I am sorry. I never wanted things to turn out this way.
BETHANY
I wanted us to work. I wanted to feel like your wife, not someone who always comes second to your past.
Larry reaches for her hand, realizing how deeply his choices have hurt her.
LARRY
I do not want to lose you.
BETHANY
Then stop giving me reasons to feel like I am losing you.
The room falls silent. Bethany wants to believe that things can change, but she knows that an apology alone will not repair their marriage.
Larry must recover from his injury, while both of them face the emotional problems they have been avoiding for far too long.
Scene 8 — The Mysterious Phone Call
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE — LATER THAT NIGHT
Just when the house finally grows quiet, Larry’s phone begins to ring. An unfamiliar number appears on the screen.
BETHANY
Larry, someone is calling you. Do you know this number?
Larry answers. At first, he says nothing. Then the voice on the other end tells him something that immediately changes his expression.
LARRY
Wait. What are you telling me? No, that does not make any sense.
Bethany moves closer, trying to understand what is happening. Larry listens for a few more seconds before slowly lowering the phone.
BETHANY
Larry, you are scaring me. Is this about Sharra?
Larry stares at the phone, struggling to find the right words.
LARRY
There is something else we need to deal with. I have to find out whether what they told me is true.
Bethany’s heart sinks. Larry is already injured, their marriage is under pressure, and now an unexpected call suggests that another secret may be about to surface.
Who called Larry? What did they reveal? And could this new information change everything the family thought it knew?
