SCENE 1: THE PHONE CALL

Anthony was relaxing at home when his phone began to ring. He answered without realizing that the conversation would soon create a serious problem.

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“Anthony, I need you to explain something to me. Why did you send D’Nisha to pick up Kai instead of going yourself?”

ANTHONY:
“What’s the problem? D’Nisha went to pick up Kai. I don’t understand why this needs to become a big issue.”

Shayla’s sister was not satisfied. She wanted to know why D’Nisha had been involved and why Anthony had not handled the situation himself.

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“You could have gone yourself. Why did she have to be the one to do it?”

Anthony tried to explain that there was nothing wrong with D’Nisha helping him. But his explanation only made the conversation more tense.

ANTHONY:
“Kai needed to be picked up. D’Nisha was able to go, so she went. Why are you making this complicated?”

Nearby, D’Nisha listened to the conversation. Her expression changed as she heard Shayla’s sister continue questioning her involvement.

SCENE 2: D’NISHA TAKES CONTROL

D’Nisha had heard enough. Frustrated by the questions, she reached over and suddenly took the phone from Anthony’s hand.

ANTHONY:
“D’Nisha, what are you doing?”

She ignored him and brought the phone to her ear, ready to confront Shayla’s sister directly.

D’NISHA:
“Who do you think you are to question me about what I do?”

Shayla’s sister was stunned. She had called Anthony, not D’Nisha, and she never expected the conversation to take this turn.

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“I was talking to Anthony. I wasn’t talking to you.”

D’NISHA:
“Well, now you’re talking to me. I am not going to let you question me as if I did something wrong.”

D’Nisha insisted that it made no difference whether she went to pick up Kai or Anthony went himself. She believed they could handle the situation without having to justify every decision.

D’NISHA:
“If I want to help Anthony, I will. There is no reason for you to make this into a problem.”

Shayla’s sister warned her to watch her tone, but D’Nisha refused to back down.

D’NISHA:
“Call whoever you want. I said what I said.”

D’Nisha ended the call and handed the phone back. Anthony realized that the conversation had become far more serious than he had expected.

SCENE 3: SHAYLA’S SISTER CALLS HER

Shayla’s sister stood in disbelief, replaying D’Nisha’s words in her mind. She felt embarrassed and disrespected by the way the conversation had ended.

She immediately called Shayla, determined to tell her everything that had happened.

SHAYLA:
“Hey, what’s going on? Why do you sound so upset?”

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“I called Anthony to ask why D’Nisha went to pick up Kai. While he was explaining, she grabbed the phone and started disrespecting me.”

Shayla’s expression immediately changed. She could hear how upset her sister was and wanted to know exactly what D’Nisha had said.

SHAYLA:
“Wait. She actually took the phone and spoke to you like that?”

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“Yes! She acted like I had no right to ask a simple question. She told me that it didn’t matter whether she or Anthony picked up Kai.”

Shayla became increasingly angry. In her mind, D’Nisha had crossed a line by confronting her sister instead of allowing Anthony to answer.

SHAYLA:
“She had no reason to disrespect you. I’m not going to let her think she can speak to my family however she wants.”

Her sister tried to calm her down, warning her not to make the situation worse. But Shayla had already made up her mind.

SHAYLA:
“I’m going to handle this myself.”

She ended the call, grabbed her belongings, and headed straight for Anthony’s house.

SCENE 4: SHAYLA ARRIVES

Inside Anthony’s house, D’Nisha remained confident that she had done nothing wrong. Anthony, however, worried that the phone argument would lead to a much bigger confrontation.

ANTHONY:
“I have a feeling this isn’t over. Shayla’s sister is probably going to call her.”

D’NISHA:
“Let her call. I’m not apologizing for standing up for myself.”

Before Anthony could respond, someone knocked loudly on the front door. He walked over and opened it, only to find Shayla standing outside with an angry expression.

ANTHONY:
“Shayla? What are you doing here?”

SHAYLA:
“Move out of my way. I didn’t come here to talk to you.”

Shayla walked into the house before Anthony could stop her. D’Nisha watched her approach, immediately recognizing that another argument was about to begin.

SHAYLA:
“So you’re the one who thinks she can talk to my sister any kind of way?”

D’NISHA:
“And you’re the one who came all the way over here because of a phone call?”

The women stared at each other. Anthony stepped between them, hoping to prevent the disagreement from turning physical.

ANTHONY:
“Both of you, calm down. We can talk about this without fighting.”

SCENE 5: THE ARGUMENT EXPLODES

Shayla demanded that D’Nisha apologize to her sister. D’Nisha refused, insisting that she had only defended herself against questions she considered disrespectful.

SHAYLA:
“You owe my sister an apology. You had no right to speak to her that way.”

D’NISHA:
“I’m not apologizing for something I don’t believe I did wrong.”

Shayla moved closer, her anger becoming harder to control. D’Nisha stood her ground and refused to let Shayla intimidate her.

SHAYLA:
“You think you can do whatever you want and nobody will say anything?”

D’NISHA:
“I don’t let people intimidate me. If you have something to say, say it without threatening me.”

Anthony tried once more to separate them. But Shayla was too angry to listen, and D’Nisha was unwilling to back down.

ANTHONY:
“Shayla, please. This isn’t worth anybody getting hurt.”

Shayla pointed toward D’Nisha and accused her of deliberately humiliating her sister. Then, in a sudden burst of anger, Shayla lunged toward her.

D’Nisha immediately fought back. The confrontation became a physical struggle, and Anthony rushed forward, desperately shouting for both women to stop.

ANTHONY:
“Stop! Both of you, stop right now!”

But the fight continued. Neither woman seemed willing to surrender, and the situation quickly spiraled out of control.

SCENE 6: SHAYLA GETS INJURED

During the struggle, Shayla lost her balance and suffered an injury. Her expression changed immediately as pain replaced the anger on her face.

SHAYLA:
“Oh my God!”

Anthony rushed toward her, shocked by how quickly everything had changed. The argument that started over a phone call had now become a serious emergency.

ANTHONY:
“Shayla, are you okay? Somebody needs to get help!”

D’Nisha stepped back, breathing heavily. For the first time, the seriousness of the confrontation became impossible to ignore.

Anthony focused on Shayla and made sure she received medical attention. The situation was no longer about who had been right during the original argument.

Shayla was taken to the hospital for treatment. What had begun as an attempt to defend her sister had ended with her injured and facing an uncertain recovery.

Meanwhile, D’Nisha was left to consider the consequences of the fight. Whatever her intentions had been during the phone call, the physical confrontation had changed everything.

SCENE 7: THE HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM

At the hospital, Anthony waited anxiously while Shayla received medical attention. He repeatedly checked his phone, knowing that her family would soon demand answers.

His phone finally rang. It was Shayla’s sister, who had been trying to contact Shayla and was becoming increasingly worried.

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“Anthony, where is Shayla? I’ve been trying to reach her. What happened?”

ANTHONY:
“Shayla came to my house to confront D’Nisha. They got into a fight, and Shayla was injured. She’s at the hospital receiving treatment.”

Shayla’s sister was horrified. She had never imagined that telling Shayla about the phone call would lead to such a frightening outcome.

SHAYLA’S SISTER:
“Oh my God! Is my sister going to be okay? How did everything get this bad?”

ANTHONY:
“I tried to stop them, but everything happened so fast. The doctors are treating her, and I’m waiting for more information.”

Shayla’s sister prepared to go to the hospital. She was worried about Shayla and angry that a disagreement had escalated into a physical fight.

Anthony sat quietly in the waiting area, realizing that the consequences of this confrontation would not disappear once Shayla left the hospital.

SCENE 8: A NEW PROBLEM EMERGES

As the evening progressed, Anthony finally learned that Shayla was receiving treatment for her injuries. He felt relieved, but the tension surrounding the situation remained.

Shayla’s sister was preparing to reach the hospital, determined to stand beside her sister and find out exactly what had happened inside Anthony’s house.

Meanwhile, D’Nisha knew that her confrontation with Shayla had created a serious problem. She had refused to back down during the argument, but now she had to face the consequences of the fight.

Anthony wondered whether Shayla’s family would blame him for what happened. He had tried to stop the women, yet the confrontation had become violent before he could separate them.

Suddenly, his phone lit up with a new message. He looked at the screen, expecting another update about Shayla.

Instead, the message hinted that another unexpected development was about to change the situation all over again.

Anthony read it carefully, and his expression changed. He looked toward the hospital corridor, wondering what could possibly happen next.

Was Shayla’s family preparing to confront D’Nisha again? Was Anthony about to be pulled into an even bigger dispute? And what would happen when Shayla was finally ready to speak for herself?
