Dave: “Is she okay?”
The doctor gave him a reassuring look.

Dave’s heart sank.

The doctor walked Dave into Amber’s room.

The doctor smiled gently.
Doctor: “Amber, your tests show that you’re pregnant.”
For a moment, neither of them said a word.
Dave looked at Amber in disbelief.
Dave: “Pregnant?”
The doctor nodded.

Amber covered her mouth as tears filled her eyes.
Dave slowly sat beside her.
Dave: “We’re really having a baby?”
