BROOKE, LARRY & LYNETTE: A FAMILY FIGHT THAT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE!

SCENE 1: A TERRIFYING CONFRONTATION

[INT. LARRY’S HOUSE – AFTERNOON]

The house is unusually quiet.

Larry is lying in his bedroom, looking weak and exhausted. A blanket covers his body, and a glass of water sits on the bedside table. He has been sick for days, and his condition has left him struggling to get out of bed.

Suddenly, the front door opens.

Lynette walks inside, carrying her handbag. She looks around before noticing how silent the house is.

Just as she takes a step toward the living room, Brooke appears in front of her.

Brooke’s expression immediately changes. She looks furious.

BROOKE:

“Where have you been? Do you even realize that my father is sick and needs someone to take care of him?”

LYNETTE:

“Excuse me? I don’t need you questioning me the moment I walk through the door!”

BROOKE:

“Someone has to! You never take proper care of Larry. He deserves better than this!”

Lynette drops her handbag onto the couch.

LYNETTE:

“You have absolutely no idea what I do for him. You come here, make accusations, and act like you’re the only person who cares about Larry!”

BROOKE:

“Because someone needs to protect him! I’m taking my father to my house. At least there, I can make sure he’s getting the care he deserves!”

Lynette steps closer, shaking her head.

LYNETTE:

“You’re not taking him anywhere without his permission!”

BROOKE:

“Then maybe you should start treating him properly!”

The tension between them becomes unbearable.

Neither woman is willing to back down.

SCENE 2: THE BEDROOM EXPLOSION

[INT. LARRY’S BEDROOM – MOMENTS LATER]

Brooke storms toward Larry’s bedroom.

She pushes the door open and immediately freezes.

Lynette is standing beside Larry’s bed.

Larry is still resting, his eyes partially closed.

Brooke looks at Lynette with disbelief.

BROOKE:

“What are you doing in here?”

Lynette turns around.

LYNETTE:

“What does it look like? I’m checking on Larry!”

BROOKE:

“Stay away from my father!”

LYNETTE:

“Who do you think you are to order me around? You don’t own this house!”

Brooke walks closer to the bed.

BROOKE:

“He’s my father! And I won’t allow you to control his life!”

LYNETTE:

“Your father is a grown man. He can decide who stays beside him!”

BROOKE:

“Then why does he look so miserable every time you’re around?”

Lynette’s face turns red.

LYNETTE:

“Watch your mouth, Brooke!”

BROOKE:

“Or what? Are you going to stop me from protecting my own father?”

Larry slowly opens his eyes.

He hears the shouting but is too weak to understand what is happening.

LARRY:

“Please… can you both keep your voices down?”

Neither woman listens.

SCENE 3: WHEN WORDS TURN INTO VIOLENCE

[INT. LARRY’S BEDROOM – CONTINUOUS]

Lynette suddenly steps between Brooke and Larry.

LYNETTE:

“That’s enough! Get out of this bedroom!”

Brooke refuses to move.

BROOKE:

“You don’t give me orders!”

Lynette pushes Brooke backward.

Brooke stumbles, catches herself, and looks at Lynette in disbelief.

BROOKE:

“Did you just put your hands on me?”

LYNETTE:

“Maybe now you’ll understand that you need to respect my boundaries!”

Brooke immediately pushes Lynette back.

BROOKE:

“Never touch me again!”

Within seconds, everything falls apart.

Lynette grabs Brooke’s hair.

Brooke screams and grabs Lynette’s hair in return.

Both women struggle across the bedroom, knocking into the bedside table.

A glass falls to the floor and shatters.

LYNETTE:

“LET GO OF MY HAIR!”

BROOKE:

“YOU STARTED THIS!”

LYNETTE:

“GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!”

BROOKE:

“THIS IS MY FATHER’S HOUSE!”

They continue pulling and pushing each other.

Larry suddenly tries to sit up.

LARRY:

“STOP! BOTH OF YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”

But his voice is too weak to control the situation.

He reaches toward the bedside table, trying to find something to help him get up.

His breathing becomes heavier.

SCENE 4: LARRY’S HEALTH TAKES A DANGEROUS TURN

[INT. LARRY’S BEDROOM – MOMENTS LATER]

Larry manages to sit halfway up.

He looks at Brooke and Lynette fighting beside his bed.

His face fills with fear.

LARRY:

“Brooke… Lynette… please…”

Suddenly, Brooke accidentally knocks into the bed.

Larry loses his balance.

LARRY:

“AH!”

Both women immediately stop.

Larry grabs his chest and struggles to breathe.

Brooke’s expression changes completely.

BROOKE:

“DAD! OH MY GOD!”

She rushes toward him.

LYNETTE:

“Larry? What’s wrong?”

Larry tries to speak, but his words are barely understandable.

LARRY:

“I… can’t…”

Brooke grabs his hand.

BROOKE:

“Dad, look at me! Please, stay with me!”

Lynette stands frozen for a moment.

Then she rushes to the other side of the bed.

LYNETTE:

“Call an ambulance! Right now!”

Brooke grabs her phone with trembling hands.

BROOKE:

“Hello? I need an ambulance! My father is extremely sick and having trouble breathing!”

She gives the address and immediately returns to Larry.

BROOKE:

“Dad, help is coming. Please don’t close your eyes!”

Larry slowly looks at her.

LARRY:

“Brooke… don’t… fight…”

Brooke’s eyes fill with tears.

BROOKE:

“I’m sorry, Dad. I promise. Just please get better.”

Lynette looks down, realizing how badly the argument has affected him.

For the first time, neither woman has anything left to say.

SCENE 5: A SHOCKING ACCUSATION

[INT. LARRY’S BEDROOM – A FEW MINUTES LATER]

The ambulance is on its way.

Brooke is sitting beside Larry, holding his hand.

Lynette walks toward the bedroom door, looking worried.

Suddenly, Larry moves his fingers.

LARRY:

“Lynette…”

She immediately turns around.

LYNETTE:

“I’m here, Larry. I’m right here.”

Larry tries to lift his head.

LARRY:

“Don’t… let her…”

His voice fades.

Brooke looks confused.

BROOKE:

“Dad? What are you trying to say?”

Larry closes his eyes.

Lynette looks at Brooke nervously.

BROOKE:

“What did he mean by that?”

LYNETTE:

“He’s sick, Brooke. He doesn’t know what he’s saying.”

BROOKE:

“Then why did he look at you when he said it?”

Lynette turns away.

Brooke notices her strange reaction.

BROOKE:

“Wait a minute. What are you hiding from me?”

LYNETTE:

“I’m not hiding anything!”

BROOKE:

“Then tell me why my father is afraid!”

Lynette takes a deep breath.

LYNETTE:

“Not everything is about you, Brooke. There are things you don’t understand.”

BROOKE:

“Then explain them!”

Before Lynette can answer, the sound of an ambulance siren approaches outside.

SCENE 6: THE EMERGENCY ARRIVES

[EXT. LARRY’S HOUSE – MOMENTS LATER]

An ambulance pulls into the driveway.

Two paramedics rush out carrying medical equipment.

Brooke runs toward them.

BROOKE:

“Please hurry! My father is inside!”

The paramedics rush into the bedroom.

PARAMEDIC 1:

“Sir, can you hear me?”

They check Larry’s condition and begin providing emergency assistance.

PARAMEDIC 2:

“We need to get him to the hospital immediately.”

Brooke starts crying.

BROOKE:

“Please save my father!”

Lynette stands near the doorway, unable to hide her fear.

The paramedics carefully place Larry onto a stretcher.

As they move him toward the door, Larry suddenly opens his eyes.

He looks directly at Brooke.

LARRY:

“Brooke… listen…”

BROOKE:

“I’m listening, Dad!”

Larry tries to continue.

LARRY:

“Don’t… trust…”

But before he can finish, the paramedic asks Brooke to step aside.

PARAMEDIC 1:

“Ma’am, we need space. Please let us work.”

Brooke steps back, terrified by her father’s unfinished sentence.

She looks at Lynette.

Lynette quickly lowers her eyes.

SCENE 7: THE SECRET BEHIND THE ARGUMENT

[INT. AMBULANCE – EVENING]

Brooke sits beside Larry as the ambulance speeds toward the hospital.

Lynette is following behind in her car.

Brooke cannot stop thinking about Larry’s final words.

“Don’t trust…”

Who was he talking about?

She looks at her father’s pale face.

BROOKE:

“Dad, what were you trying to tell me? Was it about Lynette?”

Larry remains unconscious.

Brooke takes his hand.

BROOKE:

“I promise I won’t let anyone hurt you.”

Meanwhile, Lynette is driving with a worried expression.

Her phone suddenly rings.

She looks at the screen.

An unknown number.

She answers.

LYNETTE:

“Hello?”

UNKNOWN CALLER:

“Did Brooke find out?”

Lynette’s eyes widen.

LYNETTE:

“No! Not yet. But things are getting out of control.”

UNKNOWN CALLER:

“You need to make sure Larry doesn’t tell her anything.”

Lynette grips the steering wheel.

LYNETTE:

“I know what I have to do.”

The call ends.

Lynette looks toward the road, visibly shaken.

But someone has been watching her.

A black vehicle is following her from a distance.

SCENE 8: A TERRIFYING DISCOVERY AT THE HOSPITAL

[INT. HOSPITAL – NIGHT]

The ambulance reaches the hospital.

Doctors and nurses rush Larry into the emergency department.

Brooke follows behind, crying.

BROOKE:

“Please, someone tell me what’s happening to my father!”

A doctor steps forward.

DOCTOR:

“Ma’am, your father is in critical condition. We need to run several tests immediately.”

BROOKE:

“Can I see him?”

DOCTOR:

“Not right now. Please wait outside.”

Brooke sits down in the waiting area.

A few minutes later, Lynette arrives.

She walks toward Brooke.

LYNETTE:

“How is Larry?”

Brooke stands up immediately.

BROOKE:

“Don’t pretend you care!”

LYNETTE:

“Brooke, this isn’t the time for another argument.”

BROOKE:

“Then tell me the truth! Who was that person you were talking to on the phone?”

Lynette freezes.

LYNETTE:

“What phone call?”

BROOKE:

“I saw you talking to someone while you were driving behind the ambulance!”

Lynette tries to remain calm.

LYNETTE:

“You must have misunderstood.”

BROOKE:

“I haven’t misunderstood anything! My father is fighting for his life, and you’re still hiding something!”

Before Lynette can respond, the doctor walks out.

Both women turn toward him.

DOCTOR:

“Which one of you is Larry’s family?”

BROOKE:

“I’m his daughter!”

LYNETTE:

“I’m also very close to him. Please, tell us what’s happening.”

The doctor looks serious.

DOCTOR:

“We’ve discovered something concerning in his medical examination. We need to speak with the family.”

Brooke’s heart begins racing.

BROOKE:

“What did you find?”

The doctor looks at both women.

DOCTOR:

“Before I explain, I need to ask something. Has anyone recently changed Larry’s medication?”

Brooke slowly turns toward Lynette.

Lynette’s face loses its color.

SCENE 9: THE MEDICATION MYSTERY

[INT. HOSPITAL WAITING AREA – CONTINUOUS]

Brooke steps closer to Lynette.

BROOKE:

“What medication is the doctor talking about?”

LYNETTE:

“I don’t know. Why are you looking at me?”

BROOKE:

“Because you’ve been taking care of my father. If someone changed his medication, you would know!”

LYNETTE:

“Don’t you dare accuse me of something like that!”

The doctor raises his hand.

DOCTOR:

“Please calm down. We’re still investigating. We found some inconsistencies in his medication history, and we need to understand what happened.”

Brooke looks horrified.

BROOKE:

“Are you saying someone might have given him the wrong medicine?”

DOCTOR:

“That’s one possibility we’re investigating. We cannot draw any conclusions yet.”

Lynette takes a step backward.

Brooke notices.

BROOKE:

“Why are you suddenly so nervous?”

LYNETTE:

“I’ve had enough of your accusations!”

Lynette turns and walks away.

Brooke watches her disappear down the hallway.

Something tells her that this argument is only the beginning.

SCENE 10: THE PHONE THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

[INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY – LATE NIGHT]

Brooke sits alone, staring at the floor.

Her phone vibrates.

A message appears from an unknown number.

She opens it.

There is a photograph attached.

Brooke’s eyes widen.

The photograph shows Lynette standing inside Larry’s bedroom, holding a small medicine bottle.

Underneath the photograph is a message:

“YOUR FATHER IS NOT SICK BY ACCIDENT. ASK LYNETTE WHAT SHE HAS BEEN GIVING HIM.”

Brooke’s hands begin shaking.

She immediately looks toward the hallway where Lynette disappeared.

BROOKE:

“What’s going on? Who sent me this?”

She zooms in on the photograph.

The medicine bottle has a label, but the image is too blurry to read.

Suddenly, another message arrives.

“CHECK THE LOCKED DRAWER IN YOUR FATHER’S BEDROOM. THE TRUTH IS INSIDE.”
