SCENE 1 — THE WORDS THAT BROKE THE SILENCE

The room was quiet.

Too quiet.

Brooke stood near the center of the living room, unaware that Hope and Faith had already decided to push her patience to the limit.

Hope leaned against a table with a knowing smile.

Faith stood beside her, watching Brooke closely.

Neither of them looked ready to back down.

Brooke noticed their expressions.

BROOKE

“What?”

Hope exchanged a quick glance with Faith.

Then she smiled.

HOPE

“Nothing. We were just talking about you.”

Brooke frowned.

BROOKE

“Then say whatever you have to say.”

Faith stepped forward.

FAITH

“Fine. We were wondering how you feel about being pregnant before you even got married.”

Brooke’s expression immediately changed.

She stared at Faith.

BROOKE

“Don’t start.”

Hope laughed quietly.

HOPE

“Why not? Everyone already knows.”

Brooke clenched her hands.

BROOKE

“Knows what?”

Hope looked directly into Brooke’s eyes.

HOPE

“That the baby is Isaiah’s.”

The words hit Brooke like a shock.

For a moment, nobody moved.

Brooke’s face became red with embarrassment and anger.

BROOKE

“You two need to stop.”

Faith folded her arms.

FAITH

“Why? Are we wrong?”

Brooke looked from Faith to Hope.

Her breathing became heavier.

BROOKE

“You don’t know anything about my life.”

Hope stepped closer.

HOPE

“We know enough.”

SCENE 2 — BROOKE LOSES HER TEMPER

Brooke tried to walk away.

Faith moved slightly into her path.

Brooke stopped.

BROOKE

“Move.”

Faith didn’t.

FAITH

“Why are you getting so angry?”

Brooke’s eyes filled with frustration.

BROOKE

“Because you’re humiliating me!”

Hope stepped closer from the other side.

HOPE

“Maybe you should have thought about that before getting pregnant.”

Brooke suddenly pushed Hope backward.

Hope stumbled but quickly regained her balance.

Faith reacted immediately.

FAITH

“Hey!”

Brooke turned toward Faith.

BROOKE

“Stay out of this!”

The argument exploded into a physical confrontation.

Brooke grabbed at Hope’s arms as Hope tried to hold her back.

Faith stepped in, attempting to separate them.

The camera stayed wide, clearly showing all three women and their positions.

Brooke was between Hope and Faith.

Hope stood slightly to Brooke’s left.

Faith stood to Brooke’s right.

The struggle became chaotic, but no weapons were involved.

SCENE 3 — TWO AGAINST ONE

Brooke tried to pull away.

BROOKE

“Get off me!”

Hope held Brooke’s arms long enough for Faith to help move her away from the center of the room.

HOPE

“Calm down!”

BROOKE

“You started this!”

Faith reached toward Brooke, trying to keep her from charging at Hope again.

Brooke resisted.

She stumbled backward and lost her balance.

Hope and Faith immediately stepped back as Brooke landed on the carpeted floor.

The camera lowered slightly, keeping all three faces visible.

Brooke looked furious.

She quickly tried to sit up.

BROOKE

“You both think you can gang up on me?”

Faith shook her head.

FAITH

“You attacked Hope first!”

Brooke pushed herself upright.

BROOKE

“Because she wouldn’t stop!”

Hope stood a few feet away, breathing heavily.

HOPE

“You need to control yourself.”

Brooke stared at her.

BROOKE

“You humiliated me in my own house!”

SCENE 4 — THE ARGUMENT GETS WORSE

For several seconds, nobody spoke.

The tension in the room was overwhelming.

Brooke remained on the floor while Hope and Faith stood nearby.

Faith looked toward Hope.

FAITH

“She really needs to calm down.”

Brooke heard her.

BROOKE

“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here.”

Faith looked back.

“Then stop acting like this.”

Brooke slowly stood.

Her eyes were filled with anger and hurt.

BROOKE

“You don’t understand what you just did.”

Hope’s expression changed.

HOPE

“What are you talking about?”

Brooke pointed toward them.

BROOKE

“You used Isaiah’s name just to hurt me.”

Hope became silent.

Faith looked at Hope.

For the first time, the confidence on their faces disappeared.

The room became quiet again.

Brooke took a breath.

“You two have been waiting for an opportunity to embarrass me.”

Faith looked away.

“We were joking.”

Brooke laughed bitterly.

“That wasn’t a joke.”

Hope crossed her arms.

“You’re making this bigger than it is.”

“You called me names. You talked about my pregnancy. And you dragged Isaiah into it.”

Hope didn’t answer.
