D’Nisha could hardly contain her excitement. She imagined Kai playing happily in the sand while she finally enjoyed some precious time with Anthony. For once, their future seemed bright. Neither of them realized that someone was already preparing to destroy their happiness.
Chapter 2: The Invitation That Changed Everything
Wayne’s invitation came with one important detail: Shayla was not included. Anthony had privately asked Wayne not to invite her, hoping to avoid unnecessary arguments and preserve the peace during their trip.
