The Shocking Announcement

The evening had started like any other night. Dev and Wayne were sitting together, talking casually, when Omni suddenly walked into the room. Her expression immediately told them that something was wrong.

Dev looked at her carefully. “Omni, what happened?” Wayne also noticed her nervous behavior. “What’s going on?”

Omni took a deep breath. “I need to tell you both something.” The room became completely silent.

Then she finally said the words neither man expected. “I think I’m pregnant.”

Dev stood up in shock. “What did you just say?”

Omni explained that she had been confused at first, so she took a pregnancy test. The result was positive.

But then came the bigger revelation. “I believe this baby belongs to one of you.”

Dev immediately denied it. Wayne did the same. Neither man wanted to accept Omni’s accusation.

The DNA Test Argument

Omni refused to back down. She told both men that there was only one way to establish the truth.

“DNA,” she said. “When the time comes, a DNA test can tell us who the father is.”

Wayne questioned her. “If you’re so certain, why are you blaming both of us?”

Omni answered that both men had been involved with her and that she knew what had happened between them.

Dev shook his head. “That baby isn’t mine.”

Wayne immediately added, “And it isn’t mine either.”

The conversation quickly became heated. Wayne suggested that Omni consider ending the pregnancy if neither man was responsible.

Omni became firm. “No. I’m not having an abortion.”

She demanded that they cooperate with a DNA test. Both men refused. Finally, Omni gave them a warning.

“If you won’t cooperate, I’ll go to the police.”

Dev looked at her and said, “Go ahead.”

Neither man realized that Omni was serious.

Omni Calls the Police

Later that night, Omni sat alone with her phone in her hand. She replayed the entire argument in her mind.

She had tried talking to Dev and Wayne. She had suggested a DNA test. She had asked them to cooperate. But both continued denying her claims.

Finally, Omni contacted the police.

When officers arrived, she explained her allegations and told them that she wanted the situation officially investigated.

She also described the threats she said had been made during the argument.

The officers did not immediately decide who was telling the truth. Instead, they began asking questions.

When did she discover the pregnancy? Had she taken a medical test? Did she have messages, witnesses, or any other evidence?

Omni provided the information she had. The officers told her that they would investigate the matter carefully.

The Investigation Begins

The next morning, police contacted Dev and Wayne. Neither man expected the situation to become this serious.

Dev immediately defended himself. “She’s making this up. That child isn’t mine.”

Wayne repeated the same statement. “I have nothing to do with what she’s accusing me of.”

Investigators questioned both men separately about their relationship with Omni and carefully compared their statements.

At first, both stories appeared similar. But then investigators noticed that some details did not completely match.

One officer quietly wrote something down. Another investigator returned to Omni with additional questions.

The investigation was becoming more complicated than anyone expected.

The Message That Raised Questions

Omni repeated her claim that she had been warned not to pursue a DNA test. She told investigators that Dev and Wayne had threatened her during their argument.

Both men denied threatening her.

Investigators wanted evidence, so they began examining messages and other information connected to the dispute.

Then they discovered a message that appeared to show someone trying to convince Omni to stop talking about the pregnancy.

The question was simple but serious: Who had sent the message?

Dev said it wasn’t him. Wayne insisted that he had nothing to do with it.

But investigators were not ready to accept either explanation.

Dev and Wayne Are Detained

Hours later, police returned. This time, the situation was much more serious.

Dev immediately asked, “Why are you back?”

An officer explained that both men were being detained while investigators continued examining the allegations, threats, and available evidence.

Wayne became angry. “You can’t just arrest us because she made a claim!”

The officer explained that the investigation was ongoing and that the allegations and evidence had to be formally examined.

Dev continued insisting that the baby was not his. Wayne repeated the same thing.

But neither man knew exactly what investigators had discovered.

As officers escorted them away, Omni stood nearby and watched silently.
