nd ) ISAIAH’S SECRET — THE TRUTH BROOKE WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO KNOW

Two Women, One Promise
HOOK
Some promises are made with love. Others are made to hide a terrible secret.
Brooke thought Isaiah was the man who would one day become her husband. But when she discovers that another woman, Myra, is pregnant with his baby, her world begins to collapse. She decides to confront him, unaware that the truth waiting for her could destroy not only her relationship with Isaiah but also the trust she has in her own family.
And the most frightening part? Her parents already know something she doesn’t.
Scene 1 — Brooke Discovers the Betrayal
INT. BROOKE’S BEDROOM — LATE AFTERNOON
Brooke sits on the edge of her bed, staring at her phone. Her face is pale, and her fingers tremble as she reads the message again.
A photograph shows Isaiah standing beside Myra. One of Myra’s hands rests protectively on her pregnant belly. Beneath the photograph is a short message: “You deserve to know. Myra is carrying Isaiah’s baby.”
Brooke’s eyes fill with tears. She shakes her head, desperately hoping that what she sees is a misunderstanding.
She scrolls through her old messages with Isaiah. There it is, the promise she has read a hundred times: “You’re the woman I want to marry, Brooke. Just be patient. Our future is coming.”
Brooke presses the phone against her chest. For months, she had defended Isaiah whenever someone questioned his commitment. She believed his excuses, trusted his promises, and imagined the life they would build together.
Now, every beautiful memory feels like a lie. Her bedroom door opens. Bethany steps inside and immediately notices her daughter’s tears.
Brooke quickly wipes her face, but she cannot hide the photograph. Bethany takes one look at the screen. Her expression changes for a fraction of a second. Brooke notices.
Brooke stands, her voice breaking. He promised he would marry her. He made her believe she was the only woman he wanted. How could he do this?
Bethany reaches for her daughter, but Brooke steps away.
Bethany looks at the photograph again. For a moment, she seems more frightened than surprised.
Bethany has no answer. And that silence becomes the first reason Brooke decides she must see Isaiah herself.
Scene 2 — The Decision to Leave
INT. BROOKE’S BEDROOM — EARLY EVENING
An hour later, Brooke pulls a suitcase from her closet. She throws clothes into it without folding them. Her phone lies on the bed beside her, displaying Isaiah’s unanswered messages.
She types a message: “I’m coming to see you. We need to talk.” She sends it. No reply.
Brooke zips her suitcase and takes a deep breath. She is frightened, but her determination is stronger than her fear. Larry appears in the doorway.
Brooke turns toward him.
Larry’s expression briefly reveals something deeper than anger. He looks away.
Larry remains silent. Brooke laughs bitterly through her tears. Nobody wants to explain anything. Everyone wants her to sit there, cry, and pretend her life isn’t falling apart.
She lifts the suitcase from the bed.
Larry steps into her path.
She stops. The words sound less like a warning from an angry father and more like a confession from someone who is afraid.
Larry opens his mouth, but no words come out. Bethany rushes into the room.
The room falls silent. Brooke slowly turns toward her mother.
Bethany realizes she has said too much.
Brooke looks from Bethany to Larry. Neither of them meets her eyes. For the first time, Brooke wonders whether Isaiah is the only person who has betrayed her.
Scene 3 — A Family Hiding Something
INT. LIVING ROOM — EVENING
Brooke places her suitcase beside the front door. Larry stands near the window, speaking in a low voice. Bethany approaches Brooke with a glass of water.
She looks at her mother.
Bethany sets the glass down.
Bethany’s eyes fill with tears, but she turns away.
Before Bethany can answer, Larry walks over.
Larry lowers his voice.
Larry glances at Bethany. That single glance tells Brooke they have discussed this before.
She picks up her suitcase.
She walks upstairs. Larry watches her disappear. Bethany turns toward him, her voice barely above a whisper.
Larry closes his eyes.
Bethany covers her mouth. Whatever happened in the past, it is still controlling their family. And Brooke is getting closer to discovering it.
Scene 4 — The Midnight Escape
INT. BROOKE’S BEDROOM — AFTER MIDNIGHT
The house is quiet. Bethany lies awake, staring at the ceiling. Larry sits in the living room with his phone in his hand, unable to settle.
Upstairs, Brooke quietly puts on her shoes. Her suitcase is packed. Her travel ticket is saved on her phone. She looks around her bedroom one final time.
On the dresser sits a photograph of her and Isaiah, smiling together. Brooke picks it up.
Her voice trembles.
She places the photograph face down and walks toward the door. She pauses outside her parents’ bedroom. For a moment, she considers knocking. Then she remembers their silence.
Brooke quietly leaves the house. The front door closes without a sound.
Several hours later, Bethany wakes up and notices that Brooke’s bedroom light is still off. She walks upstairs and opens the door. The bed is empty. The suitcase is gone.
She checks the bathroom, then the hallway. Nothing. Her breathing quickens.
Larry rushes upstairs. One look at the empty bedroom tells him everything.
Bethany finds a short note on the bed: “I’m sorry. I love you both, but I need the truth. Please don’t follow me.”
Bethany begins to cry. Larry grabs his phone and dials a number. When the other person answers, his voice becomes urgent.
He listens.
He ends the call and reaches for his keys. Bethany grabs his arm.
Larry doesn’t answer. He walks out, leaving Bethany standing alone in the hallway.
Scene 5 — Isaiah’s Desperate Warning
INT. TRAVELING BUS — MORNING
Brooke sits beside the window as the city slowly approaches. She has barely slept. Every few minutes, she checks her phone, hoping Isaiah has finally responded.
Then her screen lights up. A message from Isaiah appears: “Brooke, please don’t come here. You don’t know the whole truth about Myra.”
Brooke’s heart pounds. She immediately types a reply.
She sends it. The message is marked as delivered. No response comes. Brooke calls him. The phone rings twice before the call is rejected. She tries again. This time, the phone is switched off.
A passenger sitting nearby glances at her, but Brooke barely notices. Her phone vibrates again. An unknown number.
“If you want the truth, ask Isaiah who he was with the night he promised to marry you.”
Brooke reads the message three times. Her stomach tightens. The night Isaiah promised to marry her had been one of the happiest nights of her life. He had taken her to dinner, held her hands, and told her that he wanted to build a family with her.
She remembers his exact words.
