Wayne Excludes Shayla From the Los Angeles Trip, Leaving Her Furious and Feeling Betrayed
The Invitations That Started Everything
Tensions are about to reach a boiling point as Shayla discovers that Wayne has been inviting almost everyone to Los Angeles except her. What initially seemed like an ordinary invitation quickly turns into a deeply personal confrontation, leaving Shayla questioning Wayne’s intentions.
Everything begins when Amber receives a call from Wayne inviting her to Los Angeles. Amber is genuinely excited about the opportunity, especially because Wayne is bringing several people together for an important podcast-related gathering. She immediately shares the exciting news with Shayla.
However, Shayla’s reaction changes completely when she starts discovering who else has received an invitation. She discovers that D’Nisha has also been invited, along with several other podcasters and people from Wayne’s circle.
Shayla Realizes She Is the Only One Excluded
At first, Shayla tries to remain calm. She assumes Wayne might still be working through the guest list and that her invitation could arrive later. But as more names begin coming up, her patience starts disappearing.
“Wait a minute. Let me understand something,” Shayla says. “You’re telling me Wayne invited Amber, D’Nisha, and all these other people, but nobody thought to invite me?”
Amber tries to explain that she does not know why Wayne made that decision. But Shayla cannot stop thinking about the obvious difference in how Wayne is treating everyone.
“How does everybody get an invitation except me? Am I suddenly not important enough to be included? Or is there something Wayne doesn’t want me to know?”
Shayla Decides to Confront Wayne
Instead of allowing her frustration to grow silently, Shayla decides to get answers directly from the person responsible. She heads over to confront Wayne, determined not to leave without an explanation.
When Shayla finally approaches him, Wayne immediately senses that something is wrong. Before he can even ask what happened, Shayla begins questioning him about the Los Angeles trip.
“Wayne, I need you to explain something to me. Why are you inviting everybody to Los Angeles except me?”
“What are you talking about?” Wayne asks.
“Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. You invited Amber. You invited D’Nisha. You invited all these other podcasters. Everybody is going to Los Angeles, and somehow my name is the only one missing.”
Wayne Tries to Defend His Decision
Wayne attempts to keep his composure. He explains that the invitations were his decision and that he has his own reasons for choosing who attends the event. However, Shayla is not satisfied with that explanation.
“Your reasons? What reasons could possibly explain inviting everybody except me? You know what makes this even worse? I had to hear about it from somebody else. You couldn’t even tell me yourself!”
Her words make the situation increasingly uncomfortable. Shayla feels embarrassed because other people are celebrating their invitations while she is left wondering why she was deliberately excluded.
“Wayne, this isn’t about attending some random trip. This is about respect. You keep making decisions that affect people around you, and then you expect everybody to pretend that nothing is happening.”
Shayla Calls Wayne Two-Faced
Wayne becomes visibly frustrated with the accusations. He tells Shayla that she cannot dictate who he invites to his own events. He also suggests that she is making the situation bigger than it needs to be.
“That’s exactly what a two-faced person would say! You want everybody around you when it benefits you, but when it comes to including me, suddenly you have a problem.”
Wayne strongly disagrees with her description of him. He insists that he is not trying to embarrass her or make her feel unwanted. However, his inability to provide an explanation that satisfies Shayla only makes her more suspicious.
“Did you think I wouldn’t find out? Did you honestly believe everybody could go to Los Angeles, post pictures, talk about the podcast, and I would just sit here without asking questions?”
The Argument Becomes Personal
Wayne responds that she should stop assuming the worst about him. He says that there is more to the situation than she understands and that he does not appreciate being called a liar.
“Then tell me the truth! Because right now, everything you’re doing makes you look like a man who says one thing and does something completely different.”
The confrontation becomes even more personal when Shayla questions whether Wayne actually values her presence in his life. She explains that being excluded from one event might not seem important to other people, but the pattern of his decisions is what bothers her.
She feels that Wayne expects loyalty and understanding from others without offering the same consideration in return.
Shayla Delivers One Final Warning
Wayne, meanwhile, appears determined not to let Shayla control the situation. He insists that he will not apologize for making his own guest list and that he does not need permission to invite people to Los Angeles.
“You can invite whoever you want, Wayne. That’s your choice. But don’t expect me to keep acting like I don’t notice how you treat me. I see everything, and I’m not going to keep pretending that it doesn’t hurt.”
Wayne watches as Shayla walks away, clearly unhappy with how the conversation unfolded. What started as a simple invitation has now turned into a serious disagreement about trust, respect, and loyalty.
Will Wayne Finally Explain the Truth?
Now the biggest question is whether Wayne deliberately excluded Shayla because he wanted to avoid having her around during the Los Angeles gathering, or whether there is another reason he has not revealed.
And what happens when Shayla discovers that everyone else is enjoying the trip while she is left behind?
One thing is certain: this disagreement could create an even bigger divide between Wayne and Shayla. Wayne may believe he has every right to choose his guests, but Shayla clearly believes that his decision sends a much bigger message.
