Isaiah Was Counting Down The Minutes

Isaiah was feeling unusually excited. He had been looking forward to Mariah arriving in Philly, and he believed Tuesday would finally give them the chance to spend some real time together.

Throughout the day, Isaiah kept thinking about the moment Mariah would show up. He pictured the two of them talking, laughing, and enjoying some much-needed private time. As far as Isaiah was concerned, everything was falling perfectly into place.

He repeatedly checked his phone, waiting for an update from Mariah. Nothing seemed capable of ruining his mood—until he finally spotted her approaching.

Mariah Had Two Unexpected Guests

Isaiah’s excitement vanished almost instantly when he noticed that Mariah wasn’t by herself. Hope and Faith were standing right beside her.

Isaiah was visibly upset. He had expected Mariah to arrive alone, and seeing Hope and Faith with her completely changed the situation he had imagined.

Instead of welcoming Mariah with excitement, Isaiah immediately wanted answers. He questioned her about why she had brought Hope and Faith along.

Mariah didn’t panic. She explained that she had already promised Hope and Faith they could come with her. In her mind, she had simply honored her word and wasn’t trying to hide anything from Isaiah.

But Isaiah wasn’t satisfied with her explanation. His frustration kept building, and he began accusing Mariah of making him believe their meeting was going to be something it wasn’t.

Isaiah Claims He Was Betrayed

The conversation quickly became heated. Isaiah told Mariah that he felt betrayed because he believed she had given him a completely different impression about their plans.

Mariah stared at him in disbelief. She realized that Isaiah’s reaction was much bigger than the situation involving Hope and Faith. There was clearly something else behind his anger.

And then Mariah finally lost her patience.

She slapped Isaiah and told him that he couldn’t pretend to be the innocent one anymore. Mariah had discovered things about Isaiah before even coming to Philly, and she was no longer willing to ignore them.

According to Mariah, Brooke had already told her what happened between her and Isaiah. Brooke had warned Mariah about the way Isaiah had treated her and what she believed his intentions really were.

Mariah made one thing very clear: she refused to repeat Brooke’s experience.

Mariah Tells Isaiah She Knows The Truth

Mariah confronted Isaiah about Brooke’s story. She reminded him that Brooke had placed her trust in him, yet the relationship ended with Brooke feeling used and hurt.

Mariah said she now believed Isaiah could be preparing to play the same game with her.

“You really thought I was going to be like Brooke?” Mariah asked. “You thought I would simply forget everything after hearing the truth?”

For the first time, Isaiah had very little to say. He hadn’t expected Mariah to arrive knowing so much about his past. The confidence he had earlier was suddenly gone.

Mariah told him that she was finished listening to promises and explanations. She didn’t want another apology or another excuse designed to make her change her mind.

What she wanted was for Isaiah to take responsibility for his actions.

Mariah Decides Isaiah Has Gone Too Far

Mariah told Isaiah that she had reached her limit. She said that even if Brooke had eventually chosen to forgive him, she wasn’t Brooke—and she wouldn’t give him the opportunity to hurt her in the same way.

Then Mariah made a decision that left Isaiah completely stunned.

She said she intended to report Isaiah to the police because she didn’t want him to allegedly manipulate or deceive another woman.

Isaiah couldn’t believe how quickly everything had changed. Only minutes earlier, he had been excited about seeing Mariah. Now, he was facing a situation he never expected.
