The house was unusually quiet when a violent knock suddenly shook the front door.

Then she heard a voice she immediately recognized — Shara.

Bethany remained behind the locked door, refusing to move closer.
BETHANY — I didn’t have your mother arrested. You need to understand that.
BETHANY — I had nothing to do with it.
THE FINAL KICK
Shara’s anger exploded as she kicked the door again and again.
The wooden frame cracked, the lock began to separate, and Bethany stumbled backward.
One final kick shattered the frame and sent the door crashing inward.
The heavy door struck Bethany and threw her violently to the floor.

Bethany cried out as the impact damaged the wounds from her recent surgery.

He rushed inside and found Bethany lying helplessly on the floor.

Bethany opened her eyes and whispered one word — Shara.

Doctors rushed Bethany into the emergency room as Larry waited outside.

It was Shara, crying and terrified after realizing what she had done.

Shara stared at the screen, realizing someone had been watching everything.
