ati ) Dave Explodes After Discovering Anthony Called Amber Behind His Back!

ANTHONY CALLS AMBER
Hey, Anthony. What’s going on?
Hey, Amber. I wanted to ask you something about Ben and Lesa.
Ben and Lesa? What about them?
I want to know what’s happening between those two. What kind of relationship do they have, and what exactly are they planning?
Anthony, I honestly don’t know what you’re expecting me to say. Whatever is happening between Ben and Lesa is their business. I’m not going to get involved in their personal lives or tell you something that could cause problems between them.
I’m not asking you to create problems, Amber. I’m asking you to pay attention. You know how quickly things can get out of control when people start hiding things.
But why are you so concerned about them? If they have something going on, shouldn’t they be the ones to explain it?
Because Mike is involved in this situation, and I don’t want things to get ugly. If Mike finds out something he doesn’t like, you know how he can react. He might lose his temper and do something without thinking.
Okay, I understand what you’re saying. I’ll keep an eye on the situation, but I’m not going to interfere unless there’s a real reason to get involved.
That’s all I’m asking. Just stay aware of what’s happening.
Fine. I’ll let you know if I hear anything important.
I appreciate it, Amber.
AMBER TELLS DAVE EVERYTHING
What’s wrong? You look like something happened.
Anthony just called me.
Anthony? Why was he calling you?
He wanted to ask me about Ben and Lesa. He wanted to know what kind of relationship they have and what their plans are.
Hold on. Let me get this straight. Anthony called you to ask about Ben and Lesa?
Yes. I told him that their personal lives weren’t my business and that I wasn’t going to say anything that could cause problems between them.
And what did he say?
He kept insisting that I should watch them. He said he was worried Mike might lose his temper if something happened that he didn’t like.
That’s interesting.
What do you mean?
Anthony has plenty of people he could ask about Ben and Lesa. He could have called Mike directly, spoken to someone else, or simply stayed out of it. But instead, he chose to call you.
That’s exactly what I thought was strange. I couldn’t understand why he needed to involve me.
Because he wanted an excuse to talk to you!
Dave, don’t jump to conclusions. Maybe he really was concerned about Mike.
Concerned about Mike? Since when does Anthony suddenly care so much about everybody else’s business? He didn’t need to call you to discuss Ben and Lesa. He wanted to find a reason to contact you.
You think he was trying to get my attention?
I think he knew exactly what he was doing. He used Ben and Lesa as an excuse because he thought it would give him a reason to contact you without making his intentions obvious.
Even if that’s what he was doing, I didn’t encourage him. I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in discussing anybody’s personal life.
I know you didn’t do anything wrong, and I’m not blaming you. But I’m tired of Anthony acting like he can keep finding ways to get involved in our lives.
Where are you going?
I’m going to talk to Anthony.
Dave, please don’t do anything stupid. You know how Anthony is. If you go there while you’re angry, this could turn into something much bigger.
I’m not going there to cause a scene. I’m going there to ask him one simple question: why is he calling my woman when he has no reason to?
Then let me come with you.
No. I need to handle this myself. Just stay here, okay? I’ll deal with him.
Promise me you’ll keep your temper under control.
I’ll try. But if he thinks he can disrespect me and keep getting away with it, he’s about to find out that I’m not going to stand for it.
DAVE CONFRONTS ANTHONY
Dave? What are you doing here?
We need to talk.
About what?
Don’t play innocent with me. I know you called Amber.
Yes, I called Amber. So what?
So what? You couldn’t find anybody else to talk to? You had to call my woman and start asking her questions about Ben and Lesa?
I was asking about a situation that could affect Mike. Amber knows people involved, so I asked her what she knew. What’s the problem?
The problem is that I don’t believe for one second that Ben and Lesa were the real reason you called her.
Excuse me?
You wanted an excuse to talk to Amber, so you used their situation to get her attention. Don’t stand here and tell me you couldn’t have contacted somebody else.
You need to get over yourself, Dave. Not every conversation involving Amber has something to do with you.
She’s my partner. If another man keeps looking for excuses to contact her, I have every right to ask questions.
And what exactly do you expect me to do? Ask for your permission before I make a phone call?
No. I expect you to stop pretending that you’re concerned about everybody else’s problems when all you really want is to keep yourself connected to Amber.
Listen to me carefully. I’m not going to let you come to my house and accuse me of things just because you’re insecure about your relationship.
Be careful with your words.
Or what?
THE ARGUMENT TURNS INTO A FIGHT
You think you can disrespect me and then hide behind excuses? You knew exactly what you were doing when you called Amber.
Get your finger out of my face!
Then stop acting like you can do whatever you want!
Don’t ever put your hands on me!
You came to my house looking for trouble!
You brought this on yourself!
Get off me!
You should have thought about that before you decided to play games with my relationship!
You’re going to regret coming here!
The only thing I regret is not confronting you sooner!
DAVE! ANTHONY! STOP!
