Anthony and Chadwick:
A Fight That Turns Ugly

One garage visit. One brutal fight. One dangerous secret.

HOOK — One Man Wanted Love, but the Other Was Ready to Destroy Everything

Anthony thought he was taking his car to a garage for a simple repair. He had no idea that by the end of the day, he would be lying on the ground, injured and humiliated, while Chadwick stood over him with hatred in his eyes.

Chadwick had one demand: Anthony must stay away from Sheila.

But Anthony refused to surrender the woman he loved just because her former partner could not accept that she had moved on. What began as a conversation about Sheila and her son, Kai, would soon turn into a violent confrontation that neither man could easily forget.

And when Chadwick crossed a line that could change everything, the real question became whether Anthony would walk away quietly—or make Chadwick regret the day he ever touched him.

Scene 1 — Ext. Chadwick’s Garage — Day

The afternoon sun reflected off the hood of Anthony’s car as he pulled into Chadwick’s garage. The sound of engines and metal tools filled the air. Two mechanics worked near the entrance while Chadwick stood beside a vehicle, wiping grease from his hands.

Anthony parked his car and stepped out.

ANTHONYChadwick, I need you to take a look at my car. Something has been wrong with the engine since yesterday, and I don’t want the problem getting worse.

Chadwick glanced at the car, then slowly looked up at Anthony. There was no friendliness in his expression.

CHADWICKYou brought your car here because you know I can fix it. That’s the only reason you should be talking to me.
ANTHONYI’m here for a repair. I didn’t come here to argue with you.

Chadwick gave a cold laugh and dropped the cloth onto a nearby workbench.

CHADWICKYou might not have come here to argue, but there’s something we need to discuss. And believe me, Anthony, you’re not going to like what I have to say.
ANTHONYThen say it. I don’t have the whole day to stand here listening to your attitude.

Chadwick stepped closer. His voice dropped, but his eyes grew more threatening.

CHADWICKStay away from Sheila.
ANTHONYExcuse me?
CHADWICKYou heard me. Stay away from her. I don’t want to see you around her, and I certainly don’t want to hear that you’re planning to marry her.
ANTHONYSheila is not your property, Chadwick. You don’t get to decide who she loves or who she marries.

Chadwick’s jaw tightened. The conversation had barely begun, yet his anger was already rising.

Scene 2 — Ext. Chadwick’s Garage — Continuous

Chadwick moved away for a moment, then turned back toward Anthony. He pointed a finger at him.

CHADWICKYou think you’re going to come into my family’s life and take my place? You think because Sheila is spending time with you, you’re suddenly going to become the man of the house?
ANTHONYNobody is trying to take your place. Sheila made her own decisions, and you need to respect them.
CHADWICKRespect them? You don’t know anything about my family!

Chadwick struck the workbench with his palm. One of the mechanics looked over, then quickly returned to his work.

CHADWICKKai is my son. No matter what happens between Sheila and me, that boy will always be my responsibility. I won’t stand by and watch another man come into his life and make him forget his own father.

Anthony’s expression became serious. He understood that Kai was important to Chadwick, but using the child to control Sheila was unfair.

ANTHONYNobody is asking Kai to forget you. If you truly love your son, then be there for him. Spend time with him. Support him. That’s what a father should do.
CHADWICKDon’t you dare tell me how to be a father!
ANTHONYThen stop acting like Sheila has to remain alone just to protect your relationship with your son.

The words struck Chadwick harder than Anthony expected. For a moment, Chadwick said nothing. Then he moved closer, his face filled with resentment.

CHADWICKYou have no idea what you’re getting yourself into. Sheila is the mother of my child. I may have left her, but that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped loving my son. And if she marries you, everything could change.
ANTHONYEverything has already changed. You left Sheila, Chadwick. You can’t expect her to put her entire life on hold because you’re suddenly uncomfortable with her moving forward.

Chadwick’s hands curled into fists. Anthony could see that the conversation was becoming dangerous, but he refused to back down.

Scene 3 — Ext. Chadwick’s Garage — Moments Later

Chadwick walked around Anthony’s car, shaking his head.

CHADWICKYou think you’re a better man than me?
ANTHONYThis isn’t about who’s better. It’s about Sheila having the right to choose her own future.
CHADWICKAnd what about Kai? Have you thought about him? Have you thought about what happens when Sheila starts a new family with you? What happens when she gets married and suddenly has less time for her own child?

Anthony’s anger softened slightly. He knew a child’s well-being should never become a weapon in a fight between adults.

ANTHONYIf I marry Sheila, Kai will still be her son. Nothing can change that. And if she allows me to become part of his life, I’ll treat him with love and respect.
CHADWICKYou expect me to believe that? You expect me to stand here and watch you play happy family with my son?
ANTHONYI’m not asking you to like me. I’m asking you to stop trying to control Sheila.

Chadwick stepped directly into Anthony’s path.

CHADWICKListen carefully. You’re only good for fixing cars and minding your own business. That’s where you belong. You should remember your place instead of chasing after a woman who already has a family.

Anthony’s face changed. The insult had crossed a personal line.

ANTHONYYou can insult me all you want, but don’t confuse my patience with weakness.
CHADWICKOr what?
ANTHONYOr you’ll discover that I won’t let you intimidate me.

For a brief moment, the two men stood face-to-face in silence. Then Chadwick shoved Anthony’s shoulder. Anthony stumbled backward but quickly regained his balance.

ANTHONYDon’t touch me again.
CHADWICKWhat are you going to do about it?

Anthony turned toward the garage entrance, determined to leave before the situation got worse. But Chadwick wasn’t finished.

Scene 4 — Ext. Chadwick’s Garage — Continuous

Anthony reached for his car keys. Behind him, Chadwick continued shouting.

CHADWICKThat’s right! Walk away! You know you can’t compete with me!

Anthony stopped. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to control his anger.

ANTHONYI’m leaving because Sheila deserves better than watching two grown men fight over her. This conversation is over.
ANTHONYBut don’t ever think that your threats are going to make me abandon her.
CHADWICKYou still don’t understand, do you? Sheila belongs with the father of her child. She doesn’t need another man coming into her life and confusing everything.
ANTHONYIf you cared about Sheila as much as you claim, you wouldn’t be standing here insulting her future husband.

The words made Chadwick lose control. He suddenly lunged forward and punched Anthony. Anthony staggered backward, shocked by the unexpected attack. Before he could recover, Chadwick struck him again.

ANTHONYChadwick! Stop!

Anthony raised his arms to protect himself, but Chadwick continued attacking. The mechanics froze. One of them dropped a wrench, and the sharp metallic sound echoed through the garage.

CHADWICKI warned you to stay away from Sheila!
ANTHONYThis isn’t going to solve anything!
CHADWICKYou should have listened!

Chadwick struck him again. Anthony lost his balance and fell hard onto the concrete. Pain shot through his body. He tried to push himself up, but his arms trembled beneath him.

For a moment, the only sounds were Anthony’s strained breathing and the distant rumble of traffic. Chadwick stood over him, breathing heavily. His anger had pushed him far beyond the point of reason.

Scene 5 — Ext. Chadwick’s Garage — A Few Moments Later

Anthony slowly raised his head. His face showed the pain of the attack, but his eyes were filled with disbelief.

ANTHONYYou actually did this over Sheila?
CHADWICKI told you what would happen if you refused to listen.

Anthony tried to sit up. He winced and leaned against the vehicle beside him.

ANTHONYYou think beating me is going to make her love you again?
CHADWICKI don’t care what you think. I care about my son. I won’t let you destroy my family.

Anthony gave a bitter laugh that quickly turned into a grimace of pain.

ANTHONYYour family? You walked away from Sheila, Chadwick. You made your choices. Now you’re angry because she might finally be happy with someone else.

Chadwick looked away for a second. Anthony had touched a nerve.

ANTHONYYou keep talking about Kai, but have you ever stopped to think about what he would feel if he knew his father was hurting someone simply because he wanted to be with his mother?
CHADWICKDon’t bring my son into this.
