ONE TRIP, TWO WOMEN AND A CONFLICT THAT SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL
Sometimes, the biggest family conflicts begin with the smallest requests. Brooke only wanted to join an upcoming trip with her father, Larry. But Bethany’s firm refusal turned her excitement into anger and disappointment. And what started as a simple travel plan soon became a much bigger family drama.
SCENE 1 – AN UPCOMING TRIP
Bethany and Larry sit together at home, discussing their upcoming trip and making exciting plans.
Neither of them realizes that Brooke is secretly listening to their conversation.
As soon as Brooke hears about the trip, her face lights up with excitement.
She immediately imagines joining them, but Bethany has not invited her.
SCENE 2 – BROOKE APPROACHES HER FATHER
Brooke quickly approaches Larry and asks where he and Bethany are planning to go.
She excitedly tells him that she wants to join them and enjoy the trip together.
Larry explains that Bethany might not be comfortable having someone else along.
Brooke requests him to speak to Bethany, and Larry agrees to try convincing her.
SCENE 3 – LARRY SPEAKS TO BETHANY
Larry approaches Bethany and explains that Brooke wants to accompany them on the trip.
Bethany immediately refuses, making it clear that she does not want Brooke coming along.
She believes Brooke could create unnecessary drama and ruin their peaceful getaway.
Despite Larry’s efforts to convince her, Bethany firmly refuses to change her decision.
SCENE 4 – BROOKE HEARS THE REJECTION
Brooke overhears enough of their conversation to discover that Bethany has rejected her request.
Her excitement disappears, and she feels deeply hurt by Bethany’s decision.
She cannot understand why Bethany is so determined to keep her away.
Upset and angry, Brooke decides to confront Bethany and demand an explanation.
SCENE 5 – THE FIRST CONFRONTATION
Brooke approaches Bethany and directly asks why she does not want her on the trip.
Bethany explains that she wants to enjoy the getaway without unnecessary complications.
Brooke feels insulted when Bethany says the trip would be better without her.
The disagreement quickly becomes personal as Brooke struggles to control her anger.
SCENE 6 – THE ARGUMENT ESCALATES
Brooke accuses Bethany of acting as if she alone deserves to enjoy the trip.
She reminds Bethany that Larry is her father and questions why she needs permission.
Bethany insists that she has the right to decide who joins their travel plans.
Neither woman is willing to step back, and their argument becomes increasingly heated.
SCENE 7 – LARRY GETS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE
Larry notices the growing argument and approaches both women, asking them to calm down.
Brooke complains that Bethany does not even want her around.
Larry explains that he tried to help but cannot force Bethany to change her decision.
Brooke feels abandoned, while Larry struggles to keep the family conflict under control.
SCENE 8 – BETHANY REFUSES TO BACK DOWN
Bethany repeats that she will not change her plans just because Brooke is upset.
Brooke argues that Bethany is creating the tension she claims to be avoiding.
Finally, Brooke tells them to enjoy their trip but warns that she will not forget this.
Larry realizes that the disagreement has become much more serious than expected.
SCENE 9 – A FAMILY DIVIDED
Larry privately approaches Brooke and explains that he genuinely tried to convince Bethany.
Brooke responds that Bethany still does not want her there, and Larry is still going.
Meanwhile, Bethany believes she has every right to enjoy the trip without complications.
All three are left disappointed, and the atmosphere inside the house becomes uncomfortable.
SCENE 10 – THE DECISION THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING
Larry returns to Bethany and asks her to reconsider how the family conflict is affecting Brooke.
Bethany insists that her decision will not change and hints that she has another reason.
She tells Larry that there is something about the trip he does not know yet.
Suddenly, Brooke appears at the doorway and asks, “What don’t I know about this trip?”
