ISAIAH’S DESPERATE NIGHT IN ATLANTA!

A CINEMATIC DRAMA — PART ONE

HOOK — THE NIGHT EVERYTHING CHANGED

Isaiah had begged his own family for help, but everyone had rejected him. Brooke refused to answer his pleas, Mariah turned her back on him, and even his uncle refused to send him a single dollar. With nowhere to sleep and no money to return home, Isaiah was forced to ask strangers for help on the streets of Atlanta.

But just when an elderly stranger offered him a little kindness, Isaiah received a mysterious phone call that changed everything.

Someone knew why he had been abandoned in Atlanta.

And the most frightening part? That person was connected to someone Isaiah trusted.

SCENE 1: ATLANTA – CITY STREET – EVENING

The evening sky slowly turned dark as Isaiah sat alone on a public bench. His clothes were wrinkled, his face looked exhausted, and his phone was almost out of battery.

He opened his banking application again, hoping he had somehow missed something.

But the balance was still zero.

Isaiah:

“I can’t believe this is happening to me. I came to Atlanta thinking I would build a better future. Now I don’t even have enough money to buy something to eat.”

He searched through his contacts and stopped at Brooke’s name. After several seconds, he finally pressed the call button.

Brooke: “Hello? Isaiah, why are you calling me?”

Isaiah: “Brooke, please listen to me. I know we’ve had problems, and I know you’re upset with me, but I’m in serious trouble.”

Brooke: “What happened now?”

Isaiah: “I have absolutely nothing left. My bank account is empty. I’ve been trying to find a way out of Atlanta, but I can’t afford a ticket. I haven’t even eaten properly today.”

Brooke: “Isaiah, what do you expect me to do?”

Isaiah: “I’m asking you for help. You’re the only person I thought might understand what I’m going through. Please, even if you can send me a little money, it would help me get home.”

Brooke remained silent for a moment.

Brooke: “Isaiah, I have my own responsibilities. I can’t keep getting involved in your problems. You made your decisions, and now you have to deal with them.”

Isaiah: “Brooke, I’m not asking you to solve my entire life. I’m just asking you not to leave me stranded here.”

Brooke: “I’m sorry, Isaiah. I can’t help you.”

The call ended. Isaiah slowly lowered his phone.

SCENE 2: ATLANTA – OUTSIDE A RESTAURANT – NIGHT

Isaiah walked toward a nearby restaurant. Through the glass windows, he could see families enjoying dinner. He stopped outside and watched people laughing together.

His stomach was empty, but he couldn’t afford even the cheapest meal.

He opened his contacts again. This time, he called Mariah.

Mariah: “Isaiah? Why are you calling me this late?”

Isaiah: “Mariah, I really need your help. I don’t know who else to contact.”

Mariah: “What’s going on?”

Isaiah: “I’m stranded in Atlanta. I spent everything I had, and now I don’t have enough money to return home. I already called Brooke, but she refused to help me.”

Mariah: “Isaiah, I’m sorry you’re going through this, but why are you telling me?”

Isaiah: “Because I thought you would care. We know each other, Mariah. I’m not asking for a huge amount. I just need enough to get out of this situation.”

Mariah: “Listen, Isaiah. I have my own problems. I cannot send you money right now.”

Isaiah: “So you’re refusing too?”

Mariah: “Please don’t make me feel guilty. I didn’t put you in this situation.”

Isaiah: “I never thought you would say that to me.”

Mariah: “I have to go. Take care of yourself.”

Mariah disconnected. Isaiah stood outside the restaurant, looking at the phone.

Two people. Two rejections. And he still had nobody to turn to.

SCENE 3: ATLANTA – QUIET BUS STOP – LATER THAT NIGHT

Isaiah walked toward a bus stop and sat down. He remembered his uncle, the man who had always told him that family should never abandon one another.

Perhaps his uncle would be different.

Isaiah immediately called him.

Uncle: “Hello, Isaiah. What’s wrong?”

Isaiah: “Uncle, I’m in trouble. I’m still in Atlanta, and things have become really difficult.”

Uncle: “What happened?”

Isaiah: “I don’t have any money left. I asked Brooke and Mariah for help, but neither of them could do anything. I’m asking you because I honestly don’t know what else to do.”

Uncle: “How much money do you need?”

Isaiah: “Just enough to get home. I promise I’ll explain everything when I arrive.”

Uncle: “Isaiah, I wish I could help you, but things aren’t good on my side either.”

Isaiah: “Uncle, please. You’re my family. I have nowhere else to go.”

Uncle: “I understand, but I cannot send you anything right now.”

Isaiah: “Not even a little?”

Uncle: “I’m sorry. You’ll have to find another solution.”

Isaiah closed his eyes.

Isaiah: “I understand, Uncle.”

He ended the call without saying anything else.

For several minutes, he remained completely silent. Everyone he had contacted had refused to help him.

But Isaiah couldn’t understand one thing.

Why was everybody behaving as if they had already discussed his situation?

SCENE 4: BROOKE’S HOUSE – LIVING ROOM – SAME NIGHT

Brooke sat on the sofa, holding her phone. Mariah’s name suddenly appeared on the screen.

Brooke: “Hello, Mariah.”

Mariah: “Did Isaiah call you?”

Brooke immediately looked concerned.

Brooke: “Yes. He called me asking for money. He says he’s stranded in Atlanta.”

Mariah: “He called me too. He sounded desperate.”

Brooke: “I know. He called his uncle as well, didn’t he?”

Mariah: “How do you know that?”

Brooke hesitated.

Brooke: “I just assumed he would contact him.”

Mariah: “Brooke, something about this situation doesn’t feel right. Why is Isaiah suddenly asking everyone for money?”

Brooke: “I don’t know, Mariah. Maybe he should have thought about that before spending everything he had.”

Mariah: “But what if something serious happened to him?”

Brooke: “He’s an adult. He needs to take responsibility for himself.”

Mariah became quiet.

Mariah: “There’s something I haven’t told you.”

Brooke: “What?”

Mariah: “Before Isaiah called me, I received a message from an unknown number. It said Isaiah would soon ask me for money.”

Brooke immediately sat upright.

Brooke: “What did you just say?”

Mariah: “The message arrived earlier today. It said, ‘When Isaiah contacts you, don’t send him anything. You don’t know what he’s hiding.'”

Brooke stared at her phone.

Brooke: “Mariah, do you still have that message?”

Mariah: “Yes. I can send you a screenshot.”

Brooke looked toward the front door.

For the first time that evening, she seemed genuinely frightened.

SCENE 5: ATLANTA – PUBLIC PARK – NIGHT

Isaiah had moved to a nearby park. He was sitting beneath a streetlight when an elderly man approached him.

The stranger noticed Isaiah’s exhausted expression.

Elderly Man: “Young man, are you okay? You’ve been sitting here for quite some time.”

Isaiah: “I’m fine, sir. I’m just trying to figure something out.”

Elderly Man: “You don’t look fine. Is something troubling you?”

Isaiah looked down.

Isaiah: “I’m stranded in Atlanta. I came here thinking I could make something of myself, but everything went wrong.”

Elderly Man: “Where is your family?”

Isaiah: “I called them. I called Brooke, Mariah, and even my uncle. Nobody could help me.”

The elderly man shook his head.

Elderly Man: “Sometimes life teaches us difficult lessons about the people around us.”

He reached into his wallet and offered Isaiah some money.

Isaiah: “Sir, I can’t take this. You don’t even know me.”

Elderly Man: “You don’t have to know someone to show them a little kindness. Take it. Get yourself something to eat.”

Isaiah accepted the money with gratitude.

Isaiah: “Thank you so much. You have no idea what this means to me.”

Elderly Man: “Tell me something. Are you certain that the people you called are unable to help you?”

Isaiah: “What do you mean?”

Elderly Man: “I heard you mention that three different people refused to help. Sometimes, there is more to a situation than what we see.”

Isaiah looked confused.

Isaiah: “Sir, are you trying to tell me something?”

Before the elderly man could answer, his phone rang. He looked at the screen and suddenly became serious.

Elderly Man: “I have to go. But remember what I told you. Don’t trust every explanation you receive.”

The stranger walked away. Isaiah watched him disappear into the darkness.

He couldn’t understand why the man’s final words sounded like a warning.

SCENE 6: ATLANTA – EMPTY STREET – A MYSTERIOUS CALL

Isaiah was walking toward a brighter, busier part of the city when his phone suddenly rang.

The number was unfamiliar. He answered immediately.

Isaiah: “Hello? Who is this?”

Unknown Caller: “Isaiah, finally. I’ve been trying to reach you.”

Isaiah: “Who are you? How do you know my name?”

Unknown Caller: “That doesn’t matter right now. What matters is that you stop asking Brooke, Mariah, and your uncle for money.”

Isaiah stopped walking.

Isaiah: “How do you know I called them?”

Unknown Caller: “Because I know exactly what’s happening.”

Isaiah: “Then tell me. Why is everyone refusing to help me?”

The caller paused.

Unknown Caller: “Because someone doesn’t want you to return home yet.”

Isaiah’s expression changed.

Isaiah: “What? What are you talking about?”

Unknown Caller: “You think you’re simply having financial problems, Isaiah. But there’s something happening behind your back.”

Isaiah: “Who is doing this? Is it Brooke? Is it Mariah?”

Unknown Caller: “One of those people knows more than they’re admitting. And your uncle is involved in something you haven’t discovered.”

Isaiah felt his heart sink.

Isaiah: “You’re lying. My uncle would never do something like that.”

Unknown Caller: “Then ask him one question. Ask him why he received a phone call about your trip to Atlanta before you even arrived.”

Isaiah froze.

Isaiah: “How would he know about that?”

Unknown Caller: “That’s exactly what you need to find out.”

Suddenly, the call disconnected. Isaiah immediately tried calling the number back.

But the number was unavailable.

SCENE 7: BROOKE’S HOUSE – BEDROOM – NIGHT

Brooke was sitting on her bed when Mariah sent her the screenshot of the mysterious message.

She opened it.

“Isaiah will contact you tonight. Do not give him money. Someone is watching what happens next.”

Brooke read it twice.

Brooke: “Who would send something like this?”

Her phone rang again. It was Mariah.

Mariah: “Brooke, did you see the screenshot?”

Brooke: “Yes. This is getting strange. Somebody knew Isaiah would call us before he even made those calls.”

Mariah: “Exactly. And now I’m beginning to think someone deliberately arranged this situation.”

Brooke: “But why would anyone do that?”

Mariah: “Maybe they want Isaiah to stay in Atlanta. Maybe they don’t want him coming home.”

Brooke stood up and began walking around the room.

Brooke: “We need to find out who’s behind this.”

Mariah: “There’s something else. I checked the number that sent me the message.”

Brooke: “And?”

Mariah: “It was connected to a temporary phone service. I couldn’t find a real name.”

Brooke became increasingly nervous.

Brooke: “Mariah, don’t tell anyone about this conversation. Not until we know what’s happening.”

Mariah: “Why?”

Brooke: “Because if somebody is monitoring Isaiah, they might also be watching us.”

A sudden knock interrupted their conversation.

Brooke turned toward the bedroom door.

Brooke: “Hold on. Someone is at my door.”

She ended the call and walked downstairs.

SCENE 8: BROOKE’S HOUSE – FRONT DOOR – CONTINUOUS

Brooke opened the door. Her uncle stood outside.

He looked unusually serious.

Brooke: “Uncle? What are you doing here?”

Uncle: “I need to talk to you.”

Brooke: “Is something wrong?”

Uncle: “Did Isaiah contact you today?”

Brooke stared at him.

Brooke: “Yes. He asked me for money. Why?”

Uncle: “Did you send him anything?”

Brooke: “No. I couldn’t help him.”

Her uncle looked relieved.

Brooke: “Why are you asking me all these questions?”

Uncle: “Because Isaiah must not come back home right now.”

Brooke’s expression changed.

Brooke: “What? Why would you say that?”

Uncle: “There are things you don’t understand.”

Brooke: “Then explain them to me!”

Her uncle looked toward the street to make sure nobody was listening.

Uncle: “I received a phone call before Isaiah left for Atlanta. I was told that he would eventually need money, and I was instructed not to send him anything.”

Brooke stepped backward.

Brooke: “Who instructed you?”

Uncle: “I cannot tell you that yet.”

Brooke: “You knew he would be stranded? And you still refused to help him?”

Her uncle lowered his head.

Uncle: “I didn’t know things would become this serious.”

Brooke: “You need to tell me everything.”

Uncle: “Not here. We need to talk somewhere private.”

Brooke stared at him, unable to believe what she was hearing.

SCENE 9: ATLANTA – SMALL CONVENIENCE STORE – LATE NIGHT

Meanwhile, Isaiah entered a convenience store and used the money the elderly man had given him to buy something to eat.

He sat near the window, looking through his phone.

Suddenly, a new message appeared.

It was from an unknown number.

“Someone is coming to help you. Get ready. Don’t ask too many questions.”

Isaiah immediately replied.

Isaiah: “Who is this? Tell me your name!”

No response.

A few seconds later, another message arrived.

“Your ride will arrive in ten minutes. The driver knows your name.”

Isaiah looked outside.

A black vehicle was parked across the street. Its headlights were switched off.

He stared at it for several seconds.

Then his phone rang again. It was Brooke.

Isaiah: “Brooke? Why are you calling me?”

Brooke: “Isaiah, listen carefully. Don’t get into any vehicle unless you know exactly who is driving it.”

Isaiah: “What? Why are you telling me this?”

Brooke: “I just discovered something about your uncle. There’s something seriously wrong, and I need you to be careful.”

Isaiah: “Brooke, what did he do?”

Brooke: “I can’t explain everything over the phone. Just promise me you won’t trust anyone who suddenly offers to take you home.”

Isaiah looked through the window again.

The black vehicle was still there.

Isaiah: “Brooke, there’s a car outside. I’ve been receiving messages saying someone is coming to pick me up.”

Brooke went silent.

Brooke: “Isaiah, what color is the car?”

Isaiah: “Black.”

Brooke: “Is it a black SUV?”

Isaiah: “Yes. How did you know?”

Brooke’s breathing became unsteady.

Brooke: “Isaiah, get away from that vehicle. Right now!”

Suddenly, a man entered the convenience store. He looked directly at Isaiah.

Stranger: “Isaiah?”

Isaiah slowly turned around.

Isaiah: “Who are you?”

Stranger: “I’m here to take you home.”

Isaiah looked at the stranger and then at his phone.

Brooke: “Isaiah! Don’t go with him!”

The stranger extended his hand.

Stranger: “Your uncle sent me. He said you’ve had a difficult night.”

Isaiah stood completely still.

Isaiah: “My uncle?”

Stranger: “Yes. He wants you home before tomorrow morning.”

Isaiah’s phone suddenly received another message.

He looked down. His expression changed immediately.

“ISAIAH, THAT MAN IS NOT WORKING FOR YOUR UNCLE.”

Isaiah slowly raised his eyes.

The stranger was no longer smiling.

SCENE 10: ATLANTA – CONVENIENCE STORE – THE FINAL REVELATION

Isaiah: “Who sent you?”

Stranger: “I already told you. Your uncle sent me.”

Isaiah: “Then why is somebody warning me not to trust you?”

The stranger’s expr
