Inside the room, Shara sat across from her ex-boyfriend. Neither of them was smiling. The atmosphere was heavy, and the conversation between them was clearly serious.
Shara looked nervous.

SHARA
“I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do.”

“You have to tell him eventually.”
Shara immediately looked toward the door.

“Not yet. Please.”
“I just need a little more time.”
For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Larry stepped inside.
He stopped immediately.
His eyes moved from Shara to the man sitting across from her.

“Larry… Wait. Please listen to me first.”
Larry didn’t answer.
He kept staring at her ex-boyfriend.
LARRY
“What is he doing here?”
Shara took a nervous step toward him.

Larry finally looked at her.
LARRY
“Then what is it?”
Shara opened her mouth, but she couldn’t immediately find the right words.
That hesitation only made Larry more suspicious.
LARRY
“Shara, I asked you a question.”
Her ex-boyfriend slowly stood up.

“Larry, calm down.”
The room suddenly became silent.
Shara could see the anger building in Larry’s face.
LARRY
“Don’t tell me to calm down.”
Shara quickly stepped between the two men.
SHARA
“Larry, please. Just give me a chance to explain.”
Larry looked past her.
LARRY
“Explain why you’re sitting in a room with your ex?”
Shara’s face became tense.
SHARA
“We were just talking.”
Larry let out a short, bitter laugh.
LARRY
“Just talking?”
“Then why does it look like you two were hiding something?”
Shara immediately shook her head.
SHARA
“We’re not hiding anything.”
Larry stepped closer.
LARRY
“Then tell me what’s going on.”
Shara looked toward her ex-boyfriend.
That small glance didn’t escape Larry.
His expression became even more serious.
THE SITUATION EXPLODES
Larry’s patience finally disappeared.
He moved toward Shara’s ex-boyfriend and grabbed his arm, forcing him to stand fully.
LARRY
“What are you doing here?”
SHARA
“Larry!”
“Stop!”
Larry pulled his arm away.
LARRY
“Stay out of this, Shara.”
Her ex-boyfriend stepped forward.
SHARA’S EX-BOYFRIEND
“Don’t talk to her like that.”
The two men stood face-to-face.
Neither one wanted to back down.
Shara looked from one man to the other.
SHARA
“Please, both of you. Stop.”
But the tension had already reached its breaking point.
Larry pushed him.
Her ex-boyfriend pushed back.
Shara immediately stepped backward.
THE FIGHT ERUPTED.
Larry suddenly swung at him.
The two men struggled as Shara desperately tried to separate them.
SHARA
“Larry! Stop! You’ve got it all wrong!”
Larry wasn’t listening.
His anger had completely taken over.
Her ex-boyfriend tried to defend himself while Shara continued pleading with Larry.
SHARA
“Please! Just listen to me!”
Larry finally stopped.
He stood there breathing heavily.
His eyes remained locked on Shara’s ex-boyfriend.
The other man slowly straightened his shirt.

Larry slowly turned toward Shara.

LARRY

“There isn’t.”

“Then why were you so nervous when I walked in?”
Shara couldn’t answer immediately.
Larry waited.
LARRY
“What were you two talking about?”
Shara looked down.
Her silence was louder than any answer.
She finally looked up.
SHARA
“I was going to tell you.”
LARRY
“Tell me what?”
Shara hesitated again.
Her ex-boyfriend suddenly looked toward her.
There was a strange understanding between them.
Larry noticed it.
LARRY
“What was that look?”
Shara quickly turned toward him.
SHARA
“Larry, please trust me.”
LARRY
“Trust you?”
He paused.
“I walked into this room and found you sitting alone with your ex. You won’t tell me what you’re talking about, and every time I ask a question, you look at him.”
Shara’s eyes filled with emotion.
SHARA
“Because it’s complicated.”
LARRY
“Then make it simple.”
Shara couldn’t.
For several seconds, the room remained completely silent.
Larry’s anger slowly turned into confusion.
He had expected an explanation.
Instead, Shara’s silence was giving him even more questions.

Larry looked between them.

“What were you about to tell me?”
Shara took a deep breath.

“Larry…”
“I didn’t want you to find out like this.”
LARRY
“Find out what?”
Shara looked at her ex-boyfriend.
He slowly lowered his eyes.
Larry’s expression changed again.
Whatever had happened inside that room before he walked in was clearly bigger than an innocent conversation.
Larry stepped closer to Shara.
LARRY
“Tell me the truth.”
Shara remained silent.
LARRY
“What happened between you two?”
Shara’s eyes filled with tears.
She looked at Larry as if she knew that once she spoke, there would be no going back.
Then her ex-boyfriend suddenly said something that made Larry completely freeze.
SHARA’S EX-BOYFRIEND
“She hasn’t told you the most important part.”
Larry slowly turned toward him.
LARRY
“What part?”
The man looked at Shara.
Shara closed her eyes.

SOMEONE SUDDENLY KNOCKED HARD ON THE DOOR.
Everyone froze.
Larry looked toward the door.
Shara’s face went completely pale.
Her ex-boyfriend stepped backward.
Another knock came.
This time, even louder.
LARRY
“Who is it?”
There was no answer.
Larry looked back at Shara.
LARRY
“Shara… who are you expecting?”
Shara didn’t respond.
Larry slowly reached for the door handle.
He opened the door.
But whoever was standing outside had already disappeared.
ONE FINAL CLUE
Only one thing had been left behind.
A SMALL ENVELOPE LYING ON THE FLOOR.
Larry picked it up.
His eyes moved toward Shara.
LARRY
“Is this yours?”
Shara stared at the envelope.
The color drained from her face.
She knew exactly what was inside.
Larry slowly opened it.
His eyes moved across the first line written on the paper.
