Cinematic Screenplay • English • Suspense Drama
ONE PHONE CALL, ONE SECRET WEDDING, AND ONE UNEXPECTED GUEST WHO COULD DESTROY EVERYTHING!

Anthony had planned the most beautiful surprise of D’Nisha’s life. A wedding venue was ready, guests were waiting, and a romantic ceremony was about to begin. But when D’Nisha arrived, she feared her fiancé was preparing to marry another woman. Just as Anthony tried to explain, an unexpected guest walked through the entrance—and the look on Anthony’s face revealed that this wedding held a secret nobody was prepared to face.

SCENE 1 — A SECRET PLAN

INT. WEDDING VENUE — AFTERNOON

Golden lights shimmered across the elegant hall. White roses decorated the tables. Red flowers surrounded a beautiful wedding arch, while soft romantic music played in the background.

Anthony stood in the middle of the venue, adjusting his jacket. He looked excited, but nervousness kept showing on his face. He glanced at his phone and checked the time.

ANTHONYEverything has to be perfect. D’Nisha deserves a moment she’ll remember for the rest of her life.

His best friend, Marcus, walked toward him carrying a small velvet box.

MARCUSYou’ve checked the decorations ten times. You’ve checked the flowers five times. And you’ve called the photographer three times. Are you sure you’re not the one getting married today?
ANTHONYI want everything to be right. D’Nisha has been through so much lately. She deserves to feel special.
MARCUSThen why haven’t you told her anything? You could have invited her normally instead of making this look like some kind of emergency.
ANTHONYBecause if I tell her the truth, she’ll start asking questions. I want to see her reaction when she discovers what I’ve planned.

Marcus shook his head, amused.

MARCUSJust make sure your surprise doesn’t give her a heart attack before she understands it.

Anthony took out his phone and looked at D’Nisha’s picture.

ANTHONYTonight, everything changes between us.

He slipped the phone into his pocket. For a moment, he appeared completely confident. But when Marcus asked him whether everything had been arranged, Anthony hesitated.

ANTHONYAlmost everything.
MARCUSWhat does that mean?
ANTHONYThere’s one person who still needs to arrive.
MARCUSWho?

Anthony didn’t answer. Instead, he walked away to make another phone call.

SCENE 2 — D’NISHA RECEIVES A DISTURBING CALL

INT. COUSIN’S HOUSE — AFTERNOON

D’Nisha sat in the living room of her cousin’s house, discussing an important family matter. Her cousin, Alina, placed two cups of tea on the table.

ALINAYou’ve been checking your phone all afternoon. Are you expecting someone to call?
D’NISHAAnthony said he was busy today. He hasn’t told me much, but I think he’s planning something for the weekend.

Her phone suddenly rang. Anthony’s name appeared on the screen. D’Nisha answered immediately.

D’NISHAHello, Anthony! I was just talking about you. Is everything okay?
ANTHONYD’Nisha, I need you to come somewhere right now.
D’NISHAWhat happened? You sound different. Are you okay?
ANTHONYI’m fine, but there’s a serious situation here. I need you to come as quickly as possible.

D’Nisha’s smile disappeared.

D’NISHAWhat situation? Anthony, you’re frightening me. Please tell me what’s going on.
ANTHONYI can’t explain everything over the phone. Just trust me and come here.
D’NISHAAt least tell me where you are.
ANTHONYPlease don’t waste any time. I’ll be waiting for you.

He ended the call. D’Nisha stared at her phone, worried. Alina immediately noticed her expression.

ALINAWhat happened? Was that Anthony?
D’NISHAYes. He told me to come to him immediately, but he wouldn’t explain why.
ALINAMaybe something happened at work. You should go and check.
D’NISHAThat’s what I’m thinking. I’ve never heard him speak like that before.

As she reached the door, Alina called after her.

ALINAD’Nisha, call me when you get there. And don’t panic before you know what’s happening.

D’Nisha nodded and hurried outside. Neither woman knew that the phone call had been carefully planned. And neither knew that someone else was already waiting at Anthony’s venue.

SCENE 3 — A WEDDING THAT SHOULDN’T EXIST

EXT. WEDDING VENUE — LATE AFTERNOON

D’Nisha’s car stopped outside a beautifully decorated building. She stepped out and looked toward the entrance. Her expression changed immediately.

Flowers covered the doorway. Guests in elegant clothes were entering the venue, and a photographer stood near the entrance. D’Nisha slowly walked forward.

D’NISHAWhat is this place?

She looked through the open doors. Inside, she saw a wedding arch, decorated tables, and rows of chairs arranged for a ceremony. Her heart began to pound. She noticed a sign with two names partly hidden behind a floral arrangement.

Before she could read it, a guest walked past her.

GUESTWhat a beautiful day for a wedding!
D’NISHAA wedding?

She looked toward the stage and spotted Anthony standing near the arch in an elegant suit. He was speaking to Marcus, who immediately noticed D’Nisha approaching. Marcus whispered something to Anthony. Anthony turned around.

His face brightened for a moment, but D’Nisha’s expression stopped him from smiling.

D’NISHAAnthony!

She hurried toward him.

D’NISHAYou told me there was a serious problem. I came here thinking something terrible had happened. Why does this place look like a wedding?
ANTHONYD’Nisha, please. Let me explain.
D’NISHAExplain what? Are you getting married?
ANTHONYWhat? No!
D’NISHAThen why are you standing here dressed like a groom? Why is everybody waiting for a ceremony?

Anthony tried to take her hand. She pulled it away.

D’NISHADon’t touch me until you tell me the truth.

The music continued playing softly behind them. A few guests began whispering. Anthony looked embarrassed, but he also seemed determined to keep something hidden.

ANTHONYI know this looks confusing. But I promise you, I haven’t betrayed you.
D’NISHAThen prove it.

Anthony opened his mouth to answer. But before he could speak, the lights around the wedding arch suddenly brightened. A voice came from behind the decorations.

MYSTERIOUS VOICEAnthony, we’re ready. It’s time to begin.
D’NISHAWho was that?

Anthony looked toward the arch. For the first time that afternoon, he appeared genuinely worried.

SCENE 4 — THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CEREMONY

INT. WEDDING VENUE — CONTINUOUS

Anthony guided D’Nisha a few steps away from the guests.

ANTHONYListen to me. I planned something special for you. I wanted to make this day unforgettable.
D’NISHAYou call this special? You made me think you were in trouble!
ANTHONYI know. I shouldn’t have frightened you like that.
D’NISHAThen tell me what this ceremony is about.

Anthony glanced at the velvet box Marcus was holding.

ANTHONYI wanted to surprise you with something important. Something that would show you how serious I am about our future.
D’NISHAOur future? Anthony, we’ve already talked about marriage. You know how much that means to me.
ANTHONYAnd I haven’t forgotten a single conversation we’ve had.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper.

ANTHONYDo you remember what you told me when we first discussed our wedding?
D’NISHAI told you that I didn’t need an expensive ceremony. I just wanted honesty, loyalty, and someone who wouldn’t make me question my place in his life.

Anthony lowered his eyes. Her words clearly affected him.

ANTHONYI remember.
D’NISHAThen why am I standing here wondering whether you’re about to marry somebody else?

Anthony had no immediate answer. Marcus approached them cautiously.

MARCUSAnthony, perhaps you should show her what you’ve prepared.

Anthony nodded, but before he could open the velvet box, a woman standing near the entrance called out.

WOMANExcuse me! Is the ceremony starting soon?

Everyone turned toward her. She was an elderly woman dressed elegantly, carrying a small handbag. Anthony recognized her immediately. His face went pale.

MARCUSAnthony? What’s wrong?
ANTHONYNothing. Everything is fine.

But D’Nisha had already seen the change in his expression.

D’NISHAYou know her, don’t you?

Anthony remained silent.

D’NISHAAnthony, look at me. Who is that woman?

The elderly guest watched them from a distance, then slowly approached.

WOMANSo, this is D’Nisha.
D’NISHAYes. And you are?
WOMANSomeone who knows more about this wedding than you do.

A tense silence fell across the room. D’Nisha looked at Anthony.

D’NISHAWhat does she mean?
ANTHONYI was going to tell you everything.
D’NISHAWhen? After the ceremony? After I embarrassed myself in front of all these people?
ANTHONYNo. That’s not what I wanted.
D’NISHAThen stop keeping secrets from me!

The woman stepped closer.

WOMANPerhaps he should tell you why he was so desperate to make this day happen.
ANTHONYPlease. Not here.
WOMANIf you had told her the truth earlier, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

D’Nisha’s face grew tense. The beautiful venue no longer felt romantic. It felt like a room full of strangers who knew something about her life that she didn’t.

SCENE 5 — A PROMISE AND A WARNING

INT. WEDDING VENUE — MOMENTS LATER

Anthony asked Marcus to give them a moment. The guests moved away, leaving D’Nisha, Anthony, and the elderly woman near the wedding arch. D’Nisha folded her arms.

D’NISHAI’m listening. Both of you need to explain yourselves.

Anthony looked directly into her eyes.

ANTHONYD’Nisha, I love you. I’ve been planning this surprise because I wanted to make a promise to you in front of the people who matter to us.
D’NISHAWhat promise?

Anthony opened the velvet box. Inside was a delicate bracelet with a small heart-shaped pendant. D’Nisha stared at it, surprised.

ANTHONYYou once told me that the smallest gestures can mean more than the biggest gifts. I wanted to give you something that would remind you of us.

For a moment, D’Nisha’s expression softened.
